Mercius
I can't really give you any tips, but I can say I love the feathers and the base a bunch!
Inarah
Nice job. The underside of the wings could use more light.
Wilwarin
Nice job! This guy is creepy lol :D
Sergeant_Crunch
Very cool. It is obviously pining for the fjords.

I really like the base. I think you did a great job on the entrails. I'm not sure if the underside needs more light - it could just be the picture that makes it look that way. Kang
I assumed Inarah meant that a bit more light shining on the underside would have made for a better photo, as opposed to more highlighting making for a better paint job... but I could be mistaken. Anyhow, I really like this - what could be more ghoulish than a zombified vulture? Who makes this mini, if I may ask? Kang
Super Administrators kit Posted February 3, 2010 Super Administrators Share Posted February 3, 2010 My only suggestion would be to set your f-stop to a higher number so we can see more of that excellent bird in focus at a time.
Mini Killer
Thanks for the comments everyone. Inarach, you are right I need to get a third light for my set up the underside of the wings are too dark. Kang, The bird is part of Game Workshop tomb kings line. They make some nice figures but they are a little expensive.

TK are on my "eventual" army list, but I have to finish my Ogres, my Skaven, my Orcs, my Dwarves, etc.
Diamond Shark
have not tried this myself, but i know a friend of my mine uses a sheet of clear plastic under his minis at times, it stays the same colour as the background but it helps shine light up under the mini. might be worth a try? great work by the way.! Mini Killer
Diamon Shark, I will give it a try can not hurt and thanks for the tip. Kit, I will try that as my Sony A350 on Macro mode has the habit of setting a very nerrow field of focus.
