Jabberwocky
I'm trying my hand at some NMM gold on a project on the bench; may I ask what colors you chose for this?

awong
Wow! Your blends are gorgeous and the metallics...Wow! Your control of highlights and shadows is amazing. You're using such a limited color palette yet you get such a huge textural range. I could look at your work all day! -AW

dks
She's all but finished now, after an hour-45 of painting this morning (running through my list of things to do). Just need to highlight the static grass and do touchups, which I think I can do tonight. Should be able to post finished pics tomorrow or Thursday. @Jabberwocky: This gold NMM began with a gradient of Brown Liner to Driftwood Brown; I highlighted it up to Desert Khaki, then Buckskin Pale, then Linen White. This morning, I added some greenish under-reflections (since the base now has green in it) by adding Pale Lichen to the Driftwood Brown, so you might notice those in the final photos.
