Mini Killer
I would do one more round of highlights and you might want to lighten up the shield strap just a little bit it blends in with the glove. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. The shield strap is untouched aside from the basecoat and a black/brown wash...I still need to highlight it.
Mercius
My plans for the base are to do a typical mix of ballast around the attached base, then add grassy areas throughout per Stern's Bases Tutorial(which is really funny considering the mini this is for). The goal is to make the attached base appear to be a large rock or piece of shale or granite and the surrounding area be a typical rocky/grassy area. Do you think that would work? You might want to stick a bit of green stuff onto the edges of the attached base; as it is, I'd be concerned that they'd look flat and artificial. Drawing little rock-like ridges in green stuff with an exacto knife (wet it first) is about the easiest way I've found to add to a base. If you decide against it, I'd suggest adding tufts of static grass right near the attached base to disguise the clean flat edge as much as possible. Seen mostly from above, I think it'll do fine as a slab of granite.
