Void
Hello again folks, I finished this guy up a while back, but had not gotten around to showing him on the Reaper boards until now. Thanks to Bob Ridolfi for a very fun miniature to paint (Though I have to admit I was tired of painting bones by the time I finished). I think I may be developing a love for painting liches...
Mercius
Dude, this is great....I love your style, the way you did your colors and metals....it is more gritty and realitic than most things you see on here...two thumbs up!

Don Rodolfo Graziani
It is MOST excellent. I'd love to be able to do glowing effects like that. DRG
Ferox
...and this one goes right into my inspiration folder. Great work! I love how the low contrast on the base and throne really makes the sword stand out.
Void
Thanks, I am glad y'all enjoy it. I intentionally put the area around the sword in very deep shadow. I think it is easiest to make source lighting effects work on dark surfaces.
bogoz
Excellent!!!! The sword actually looks like it is molten. I'm in awe!

MamaGeek
Very nicely done. The blends are very smooth, the colors are rich, and the OSL is well done. It could use a bit more contrast, but other than that, it's really nice.
Naive Wolf Joshua
Now I'm convinced... I have to buy this $24.99 mini, all because your paint job sells it. Dammit.
