rgtriplec
I've always liked this sculpt and was wondering was the Bakirathi a Reaper concept, or is it from an RPG or something else?
Reaper User ReaperClark Posted March 11, 2010 Reaper User Share Posted March 11, 2010 I've always liked this sculpt and was wondering was the Bakirathi a Reaper concept, or is it from an RPG or something else? Reaper all the way!
Inarah
When do we get a Bakarathi faction for Warlord?
Harak720
I'm curious as to what this is. I couldn't find any pictures, so if anyone can post one here, I'd much appreciate it.
sethohman
Do a search in the figure finder for Bakarathi. I just wish they werent't all so wide of a stance - they need to go onto 40mm or 50mm bases. But a faction of them would be cool - I own about 4 already, I think - very nice sculpts. sethohman
Use them as Darkspawn, proxied for the spider-centaur dudes? Cheaper, and you can run all-demons nicely!
chronoplasm
I love these guys! I should totally stat one of these guys up as a D&D 4E character. For race... maybe a revenant that used to be a goblin or something.
rgtriplec
I like the newer Gene Van Horne version. Don't really care fore the 2100 and 2200 series ones. http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/02965

They have a really fun cartoony feel. The faces remind me of Ed Roth's cartoons.
sethohman
Yeah - the new one looks more natural, like it evolved that way. The older ones have that demonic / other-worldly look to them. Both are nice, and compliment each other well, though.

To me the older ones look like some freaky mix between undead (the heads/faces) and frogs (overall body and appendages). *shivers*
evhorne969
Thanks for the compliments My understanding is the older 2100 and 2200 series are the actual Bakrathi. The figure I sculpted is a "Bakrathi Hunter" which is a half demon blood hound that hunts the Bakrathi for tasty snacks, as it were...
