rgtriplec
Elites and Solos can buy this, but how does it work? It seems to be a (L)eader only thing. Can the elites and solos perform Inspire, Rally and Regroup actions?
ViciousPanzer
Only leaders can perform leader actions and only captains and warlords can do the inspire action I believe. The Armor of Courage on an elite or solo really only grants them fearless from what I understand. Joshua

Sinden
Almost 100% Correct... "Leaders, Elites, & Solitaires Only: Grants wearer the Fearless SA and the wearer may perform Inspire, Rally, and Regroup Actions as Free Actions. Sergeants wearing the Armor of Courage may perform Inspire and Rally Actions." The armor grants a Sergeant the ability to Inspire and Rally. Since it just says they may perform these abilities and doesn't state as a specialty action, the armor also grans the Sergeant the ability to do it as a free action. -Sin
Gus Landt
Doh! Sinden to the rescue! I'll go wipe the egg off my face now....
Ddot
So then the question is: does a Solitaire also gain inspire, regroup, and rally? And if so, what is the effective troop allowance on the regroup action?
Stubbdog
Although technically it does give them the ability to do all 3, in reality only the inspire part is true, since the other two only come into play if you are a leader. Now, the exception to this, is going to be in situations like with the Darkspawn when they play the Demon FAs. As a Solo demon could summon some demons and therefore end up becoming a leader and could then use the Rally portion of the actions. It would still not be able to do a regroup since it does not have any formal leader numbers in which to be able to regroup models under. But, the inspire part it could do on its own activation. it is a free action but it is still an action and therefore can only be done on its own activation.

So, Marilith would be the sole demon solo, as the others are monsters.
Stubbdog
Correct. Maladorn and Marilith are both RACE: Demon but Marilith is the only demon that can actually wear the armor. Aundine could wear the armor, and get her personal inspire thing going, but isnt a demon so would never have a situation wear she could summon models to be able to have the rally or regroup situations apply.
Gus Landt
Man I love that Demon FA! Leads to such interesting possibilities. A Marilith in charge of the entire army! I'd read that book.
