Lawgiver
I just wanted to say thanks to Reaper for a great con overall. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as always . Hope the sales paid off. Kudos to the entire demo rep/black lightning staff for solid events. Special thanks to Tim and David for once again hauling the gobs of terrain and the hours of prep/setup/tear down work. Thanks to Ron for putting up with my myriad of questions (Reven ). GreyHorde
*waves* Big thanks and good wishes to all the staff and to sculptors & painters - you are always so welcoming and friendly, simply the highlight of the Con. Oh, and to RR - thanks for the 'gummi candy' .
Breela
A big thanks to all of the Reaper staff at GenCon. Y'all were all very friendly & super helpful! I'm still bouncing from getting the last Echidnox (was a wonderful surprise to find him when I went grab Fruimitty)!
demonelf3
Yeah everyone at Reaper is very helpful and friendly! I love especially getting to talk to the management and my fellow painters. I know I talked with Lyn and GreyHorde for a while, and had a long convo with Aaron. Good times man

vutpakdi
Thank you to all the folks who came out to buy minis and paint! I just wish that the forum folks would have introduced themselves! I had a grand time helping people out in the booth, and we had a terrific crew (including Kim, who was dressed as Sascha Dubois and had a number of people ask if she was the model for the mini). My favorite moments were the "OH MY GOD, THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!" reactions when I introduced people to mouselings and Legion of Justice and Caeke as well as being able to find the "perfect" mini for folks. The demand for the mouselings was rather stunning since we had something like 150-180 to start on Thursday morning (for the entire con) and had only 30-40 remaining by 6 PM Thursday evening. Luckily, the crew back at Reaper HQ were able to package and airfreight all the remaining mouselings in time for opening on Friday so we only came close to running out of the mouselings by Sunday evening. coastiemike
I'll echo my thanks. My wife set a $100 limit because she knew I would go crazy. My initial purchase was $98.19. When she went to take a nap on Saturday afternoon, I snuck back in and picked up a hedgehog, lemur and platypus minis :)
Lord Wehrmacht
Agreed on the Con overall and the Reaper folks in particular! I was glad to pick up a couple 2010 Con Sophies! Thanks Reaper!

I totally agree with "Cutebutpsycho" It is YOU guys that are a big part of making the con great for all of us who work Gencon. Whether one works for Reaper like Cutebutpsycho does, or one who teaches the classes and works paint and take like myself. =) All of you made GenCon great this year- Thank you, Much love and see you all next year. And if money permits, hopefully I will also see some of you next Reapercon. =) I would like to also personally thank Reaper for having the mouselings! lol
Qwyksilver
It was a weird experience for me, because every previous Gen Con, I worked with the BL/Demo team. This was my first year working the booth. It was a lot of fun, because I got to see so many new faces, and interact with a lot of new people. Being able to help folks find the perfect figure, and scaring customers with the ability to know which one, without using the catalogue or iPad app (although getting to use it, certainly made it easier later in the day when the brain started burning out) was fun. For me, it also became a challenge to find the mini first, when I didn't have the iPad, just to see if you could beat the technology. Also just getting to chat up folks about different game systems, minis and painting in general was fun. I did miss hanging out and spending as much time with Tim and the crew. Mary's already resigned herself to me coming back next year. I don't think Bryan will even have to resort to the Indy proximity shock collar plan discussed as encouragement. cutebutpsycho
I still think it's funny that fully half the people *I* talked to were looking for one of three things 1) Mouselings 2) Con Sophie 3) Frumitty Seriously, I should have just kept a stash of those three things under the register. I enjoy the "human figure finder" game too, but I still say my favorite game is "give me your money, I give you a smile and some minis" :D
Ayin
It was awesome to see you guys there! It's been waaaaay too long for me. I am starting a savings fund for RC'11 ~ I am determined not to miss another one!
