Tone
*Deep breath*... Well, here's my first attempt after a Loooooonnng break from mini painting. Thought I'd put a piccie up. I'm surprised at how much equipment I used to have to get the photo's done and missed it all while trying to get a decent piccie. Ah well, here it is
Grimwolf
Looks good. The face is a bit shadowed, probably due to the pic though. I like the wolfs head though, nicely blended.
Tone
Thank you Grim . Yup, I had to make do with natural daylight and a mobile phone for this pic (Boy I miss my SLR and Lighting ). Me-thinks a bit of a shopping trip is in order, for some decent lighting. Appreciate the feedback, thank you
Mercius
The pic aside, the paint work on the mini is fantastic, you definatly don't appear rusty to me. As far as the lighting goes, I only have my one lamp for lighting so I know how hard it is to take good pics. Is the cotton stuff on the base supposed to be snow? I would look up how to make snow out of baking powder, or invest in some games workshop scenic snow, it will look way better than thr cotton puffs...thanks for sharing! jah-joshua
not bad... the armor looks a bit flat, but you got some great texture goin' on with the fur... the tail on his staff looks especially nice... keep pushin'... cheers jah
Tone
Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments . Mercius, yeah, I hear ya about the snow. This was an experiment with some newly aquired GW Snow effect, but I'll be going back to baking soda in future A couple of lessons relearned with this one, which is all good . Thanks again guys

Enchantra
This was your first mini after a long vacation from painting???? It doesn't even look like you ever stopped painting! In fact it looks better than what I remember you posting years ago on another forum. Give yourself a much deserved pat on the back.

cookjimjr
I popped the photo into my photo editing software and adjusted the lighting some to get a better look, and WOW! You did a fantastic Job. The photo you have here kind of stole the nice highlighting you did, but I am assurred that when you do get another decent camera, everyone will see how impressive your painting actually is. Nice Job!
