That is some super NMM man, and great freehand pit hair ROFL. the whole thing is turning out really nice and he is looking very sloshed lol. I think a bit more spot highlighting on the beard would be better, but it looks like you are still working on it anyway (the right braid is not highlighted yet and the left one looks superb!). Can't wait to see this finished!

Thanks guys! Braids are still not done yet. The one on the left is base coat and mid tone only. Still need to do more work on these.

I am also thinking about re-doing the base. The floor is not the looking how I picture it in my head. I am going to it in wood rather in Green stuff.

Painted the bar Cream Ivory then aged it. I was thinking that the bar was once a nice but the bar went down hill.

The old bar was too small this one is a bit bigger. I still not sure what I should do with the mugs. I was thinking to keep them wood but I was also considering making them metal. Thoughts?

If you want the bar to look cheap you could make all the mugs miss-matched. Like a few metal ones, maybe stained, warped or rusted. Then a few wood ones, maybe some jars/cans/bottles etc to mix it up.

It looks awesome so far, I'm really looking forward to the finished version! :)

Oh you could also have a bowl of peanuts. :3 The shells on the floor.. or a spill etc.

If the bar is a dive. Metal is not likely going to be in place even though it is the most durable because it would be expensive materials. Wood would be equally durable with cheap materials, but the crafting cost would be high. I would imagine most of the mugs in such a place would probably be clay/pottery. Not super durable, but very easy to replace for low cost. Having a couple chipped up mugs, one broken on the floor with alcohol abuse (spill), etc would add to the declining quality of the place. And the mugs would be VERY easy to paint if you still have any of the terracotta triad.

This is a good point. I plan to have a bunch of mis-matched cups and the like. I do have the terracotta triad too. Thanks for your suggestion.

I ended up finishing up the figure late last night. Very disappointed that must of had the wrong setting on the camera by accident. Pictures were all out of focus. Maybe this is a good thing. I painted his back and free handed some back hair. I hope to get some pictures soon.

Thanks, I hope too as well.

This looks like a fairly busy weekend too. Next time I will most likely work on this again is Monday at the earliest. Tailspinner is helping me with the tankards, so when I get them I think the whole thing will come together rather quickly. I need to work on my epoxy skills now for all the spilled beer.
