Runestone_Cowboy
This afternoon we rescued this Nanday Conure from behind my house in Mesa, AZ. It's very tame but has no band on its leg so it is going to be very hard finding its owner. I'd love to post a pic but I am not getting the new format for doing so... Catman Jim
Chances are it didn't fly all that far. If you start posting 'found' notices, anyone could claim it. I would look instead for 'lost' notices. The same thing happened to me 20 years ago, I had a tame blue-crowned conure fly into my back yard in Seattle. I ended up keeping him when I could not find anyone with a legitimate claim on him.

They had another of the same species turned in last week.
Catman Jim
Sounds like the best solution. They will either find it's owner, or place it with someone well suited to care for it.

The owner found my wife's online found add on Craigslist. We have been in contact with him and have been trying to get the volunteer at the Sanctuary to answer her phone. That bird is almost home.
