ZILLA
Where did this Succubus warrior by the awesome Chaz Elliot come from? This is a great must buy. Why you guys kept this out of the previews or greens shocks me. You don't even have a link to the picture from the new releases on the Home page. Just curious I went to the store and typed it in the description. Normally I wouldn't have bothered. Glad I did though.
Qwyksilver
Why you guys kept this out of the previews or greens shocks me. Not every miniature gets added to either the greens page or the preview page. Whether that's because of time constraints with the model, and needing to get it directly to mold making (skipping the greens page) or because the people shooting the whites may not have had the model ready to shoot to make it a preview, and just got the time to shoot it for the release date. Or perhaps with the holidays, they were not available to take pictures. Or a goblin stole the camera. Or the photographer got hit by a stray brick hurled by Ed that missed Bryan. orcsoul
Or all three! But not necessarily in that order *shifty eyes*
Fremen
That is a VERY cool model.
Castlebuilder
It was to cool to waste time with previews, so they sent it straight to production.
Super Administrators kit Posted December 29, 2010 Super Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2010 It was to cool to waste time with previews, so they sent it straight to production. This is probably the most correct supposition.
vegel
what scale is it? looks like a 30mm scale from the base of it?
Qwyksilver
It's warlord, so it's going to be in "heroic 25 mm scale" or somewhere between 28-33ish mm. The succubus model in Warlord is supposed to be on a 1 inch square base.
WizardOne
what scale is it? looks like a 30mm scale from the base of it? That looks like a standard 1x1 inch Warlord base. So, (just eye balling it) wingspan: ~3 inches; height (top of base to wind-blown hair): ~2.5 inches. Half-inch spaced Bryangles along the starboard edge of the image if you are up for some photogrammetry.

Revised estimates: wingspan closer to 4 inches; height 2 and a quarter.
Reaper User ReaperClark Posted December 29, 2010 Reaper User Share Posted December 29, 2010 Where did this Succubus warrior by the awesome Chaz Elliot come from? Actually, this model was in the previews for at least 2 weeks before going into the now available status, that I am aware of. I know that it did not get a photo shot of the green, but I also know Ron shot the white and got it up there a while back. It is NOT a Warlord model, although she comes with a 1" plastic base. It is a Dark Heaven Legends model, Part Number 03534.

Hope y'all are enjoying your holidays!

dks
The concept art is by Wayne Reynolds. She's one fierce succubus. If you're really nice, maybe Santa Claus (or ReaperRon) will post the art as a belated Christmas present. Derek
