badocter
Just finished assembling the cavern dragon I got for Christmas and now waiting for the green stuff to cure before priming him. I intended to use the jar lid she and one of the hatchlings is sitting on as the form for the base, but now am thinking I might need something a little bigger. Anyway, should have the big guy primed tomorrow and will post again then.
badocter
Primed early this morning, base coat painted this evening. My wife says it looks kinda like Mushu from Mulan

badocter
I finally got the courage up to take the next step. Brushed on the quickshade dark. He looks much more menacing now rather than cartoonish, so I happy how it turned out. Next need to start building the base. Planning to put him standing on the rocks over a pool of lava - am thinking red and yellow ink mixed with minwax polycrylic should make decent looking lava pool.
