Inarah
Nightwatch: Sophie as Krampus In eastern European countries Krampus is a devil-like figure that accompanies St Nicholas on his rounds. While good boys and girls receive presents from St Nick, Krampus punishes the naughty children. Krampus is often portrayed with dark skin and horns, carrying a whip or switch. I wanted to bring some of these characteristics to this Sophie sculpt. She is already demonic, but painting her skin black makes her more so. Her clothing is red and orange, reflecting the fires of hell. She has her sword out and is ready to frighten children young and old, as she perches on a rooftop waiting for St Nick to arrive. Jay
The packages in her sack are painted with colored metallic paint to give the impression of metalized wrapping paper. The wings blended pretty nicely. I used Reaper master series Rosy Skin for the base skin tone. I was fairly happy with her until I took the photos. The camera wasn't terribly flattering for this figure. As always there are some great paint ups in this contest! MonkeySloth
When I first saw the Mega-Mutant I knew I had to make him a steampunk ork rampaging through a Victorian town with a gas street lamp in hand about to lay waste to some poor person.
Sarrazon
My entry. I've had this mini for a while, and how I wanted to paint her just meshed perfectly with this contest. Unfortunately, my camera's focus range is stuff, so the pictures aren't so great, and the axe just looks like balls anyway. But, without further adieu, here she is. Enjoy!
