Inarah
These are for my Warlord army. I wanted them to look otherworldly, but not too sweet or cutesy. The cold blue-purple skin makes them definitely inhuman and, I hope, just a little wicked looking. I'm not sure if these are supposed to represent male and female, the only distinguishing characteristics are the hairstyles. I tend to think of the one on the right as female and the one on the left as a little bit butch. Back view, and you can spot the oddity with the hand position there. Bobby, maybe you want to tell me what was going on there the day these got sculpted?
Ferox
Good stuff! The inhuman purple/green scheme, the clawed feet, and the iridescent insectile wings all work together for me to make them look fae rather than cutesy. Nice work on the bases, too. Amalor Myrnnyx
I have to agree. Definitely more Fae than cutesy or wicked. But very nicely done.

Anne
I love the colors you've used, particularly on the wings, very magical looking, everything works really well together!
shakespearebymonkeys
Gorgeous colors, is that a wet blend on the wings? I think you captured a surreal, alien fey very well. It just so happens that's my favorite kind of fey.
Inarah
Thanks for the comments. The wings are a wet blend of amethyst and sun yellow with a wash of forest green overall.
WizardOne
[Edit] this was a redundant double-post.

The cold blue-purple skin makes them definitely inhuman and, I hope, just a little wicked looking. It worked. I like the paintscheme. Ditto previous posters. Please forgive the crude photo-shopping which added a second wrist. Where does 'Butch's' weapon hand join up to the rest of the figure? I cannot see a join ( Is there a join? ) in your pics or in Reaper's online store pics . . . but if the figure was holding its knife point-down ( rotated 180 ) then the hand becomes a normal right hand. The weapon is also point-up in the online store pic: The figures in the inspiration gallery are also knife-up: Do think about adding yours to the inspiration gallery. Jabberwocky
Excellent job on these! Digging the color scheme and I second the call for adding this to the IG.
