Iron Kingdoms Giant

This is a Giant that I created for an Iron Kingdoms Roleplaying game. Giants in the IK are a little different from most, so I had to do some converting to get him to look like what I needed.

His face, hands and shoes are entirely made from greenstuff. He's mounted on a mini CD because it was the perfect size for a Huge sized creature.

I've posted him up on Coolmini for anyone who cares to vote.

I really love the face you did a great job resculpting it and the teeth and scars are perfect. Also it was a good idea using the mini cd I would not have known if you hadn't said anything I'll have to keep that in mind for my Huge monsters. I will have to second Anne about the color scheme it all flows so well.

Thanks. I'm planning on doing a few more faces like this, and I was very pleased with how he turned out. I'll probably try one that's less ugly next time.

The base might be just a tiny big larger on a normal board. We use a board that has slightly larger than normal squares in it (which is perfect for us, since most of our RPG minis use the lipped bases you get from Dark Age/Warmachine/Malifaux/sometimes Chronoscope). Comparing it to a Wizards of the Coast huge sized giant, I think the CD is a little larger.

Wow, fantastic job! You really are very talented. I love when you post up something new. It's always a delightful surprise!

Your sculpting work is very impressive. I can manage only the very most basic stuff. Everything else I attempt turns out horribly. Your painting is luminous, as well. Those are some lovely colors, beautiful blends, all around, just absolutely fabulous!
