Moderator TaleSpinner Posted March 11, 2011 Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2011 Done for a rogue in our PF game: This guy is really hard to photograph; the angles are all wrong for the camera. Now that I look at the pictures, I see things I could improve on, but I've lost my desire on this one. He does look better in person. I tried to make the cloak look like rough, homespun, gray wool. I think it comes through. Andy
Ferox
Oooh, nice. How'd you do the greys on the cloak?
Jay
Nice work on the cloak. I like the highlights on the hair and the extra effort on the base.
MamaGeek
He'll look really nice on the gaming table, Andy. I bet you enjoyed the painting break from all the sculpting you've been doing lately!
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted March 11, 2011 Author Moderator Share Posted March 11, 2011 He'll look really nice on the gaming table, Andy. I bet you enjoyed the painting break from all the sculpting you've been doing lately! Thanks. Actually, he's been a bit of a thorn in my side. I started him last Fall for one of the PCs in my campaign, but all I really want to do is sculpt, so painting him has been a chore. We have our monthly game tonight and I decided that I needed to get him done so I can stop feeling guilty. @ Ferox: Cloak recipe (all MSPs): Base Coat: 1 Walnut Brown/2 Shadowed Stone Highlight 1: 1 Blackened Brown/ 1 Shadowed Stone/1 Stone Gray Highlight 2: 1 Blackened Brown/3 Stone Gray Highlight 3: 1 Blackened Brown/1 Stone Gray/2 Weathered Stone Highlight 4: 1 Blackened Brown/3 Weathered Stone Highlight 5: Weathered Stone
