Why no premeasurement?

Recommended Posts

Pre-measuring slows everything down as there are far too many "ponderers" in our hobby. As others have said, the skill of range guesstimation is a good one to have in tabletop wargames and range guessing adds good elements to the game.

These people you're refering to are professional slow players and they will slow play with or without premeasurement. These are the people who think calculating every permutation in chess will win them the game instead of playing the game.
