dargrin
Thanks. Maybe more tonight I am not 100% on that though.
dargrin
Little more painting this AM. I hope to do more tonight while the kids are in bed. I am hoping that I can get the sides done tonight. As always Comment and Critiques are welcome of the progress thus far.
MamaGeek
The modeling is fantastic. The paint is just a base coat, so there's not much to comment on that yet. Keep it up!
Flit
Nice work! This is going to look great when it's done. I have a question though. With the door and windows it kinda looks like a house. Do people live in windmills like this? I think it would be cool to live in a windmill house.
dargrin
Honestly I have no idea. I do know that mills like this would often grind wheat into flower. Some where even attached to rivers or streams for more constant power. I liked the one on page one and used that for inspiration for this one. dargrin
For anyone who cares: No update this week. Taking an online course and it is harder then I thought it was going to be. I hope to get back to the mill this weekend.

Kannan Fodder
My grandparents used to have a windmill to pump water up the hill to our water tank. Yup, I grew up without "city water", and we still have the elevated tank to prove it! My dad also has one on his ranch that fills the water tank there. Looking good. I'm still amazed that you're motorizing it! That's going to be something to brag about. ~M

dargrin
Mid tone aged bone. Not sure I like where this is going. Thoughts?
MamaGeek
I like it very much! All I can suggest is to add more contrast. Keep it up!
