dargrin
Dremeled glue off and once again glued in the motor. Hopefully this will be the last time.

dargrin
Little more work. Design under where the paddle blades will be going.
MamaGeek
Oh, that's neat. I hadn't thought about adding more planking there. I thought it was done. It's a very nice touch, though.
dargrin
Thanks MG. I still need to do some weathering on the boards to match the ones underneath. I would like to think that I can get to that tonight if not tomorrow. In this picture shows how I am planning to do the blades. The wood I believe is 3/8" square dowels. I think the other smaller square dowels are 1/8".

dargrin
Getting back to this today. Re-did the base today. Thinking it will be square now with stone support collums. Pictures to follow maybe tonight.
Thaelynne
Just another fan and wanted to say that I'm looking forward to seeing the continued progress! I remember some school projects back in high school and I had a friend that could do some stuff with these crafty things to build our dioramas. But I had never had any exposure to things like 'Granite' paint or mini constructs like this! This is awesome, definitely want to do something like this with my kids one day! BEFORE they have to do something for a school project. :)
