Shakandara
That's a great idea Brian. I'd hate for us not to be able to play because we can't find some Warlord minis there to use. ~v
Heisler
Still everything really drives to the climax on Sunday; the Auction! The only place where you can use those coveted reaperbucks. At the end we will answer the eternal question; How many reaperbucks will that last Reaper Mug go for?
haldir
I say put that infinite ReaperBuck up first & then most of your 'bucks will be out of the way, as we all know what that one will go too................... (canvas bag, right?? )
Reaperbryan
no Infinite Buck this year. There is special buck though, that you have to EARN, you cannot just GET....

Reaperbryan
ReaperBucks. It's a special kind of currency we print and hand out. You get some for participating in activities, for example, classes award you 100 ReaperBucks. Games award ReaperBucks at a variable rate, based on how well you do. You can't buy things with ReaperBucks. No amount of them will let you buy minis, paints, or whatever. We have an Auction Sunday afternoon at 2pm. We do not accept money in the auction, only ReaperBucks. Want a poster of Sophie? Can't buy it, but you can Bid on it! A few years back we introduced the Infinite ReaperBuck. It was worth Inifity, but could only be used once, you couldn't make change. You bid on the Infinite Buck, and it meant that later on, you could Bid Inifnity on any one item. It was fun, but not what we're doing this year. No, this year, there's a special Buck that staffers will have and will give out to you, based on special criteria that only we know. Will you get one? Maybe. Will you get 50? Maybe. But on Sunday, the first handful of auction items can only be bid on with the Special Buck, after which they become regular bucks and can be used for anything. If it sounds confusing now, it will all be made clear when you get here!

As long as you let me know what items are going to be "special", its considered bad form to keep your auctioneer in the dark

Bumble_B
was confused on the special buck part. Makes more sense now and actually really like the idea since I believe the regular bucks are going to be flowing this year as everyone will be turning in their massive stored swag points. Didn't realize the classes are worth 100 now .. .they were 20 the year i went. Cool. Thanks for the update.
Heisler
All it means is that stuff that went for a 100 Reaperbucks last year will go for 200-300 this year. It all works out the same in the end.
