Mercius
I painted this dwarf slayer up for a ladder challenge on the WAMP forums. Between work and school I was only really able to spend about 6 hours on him. I see lots of things I could have done better, If I had to pick a favorite part it would either be the beard, or the base. CMON Voting if you are so inclined. I hope you enjoy him.

Dr.Bedlam
You had me at "dwarves with orange mohawks." Still one of GW's finest ideas. Your execution is quite good.
cookjimjr
Merc, Great stuff as always. Love the reds in the hair. It brings it all together. Also, thanks for the B-Day wish on facebook.
Loim
I always enjoy your painting, but it always makes me want to rush out and buy a bunch of dwarves and start slinging paint on them. One day it's going to reach critical mass, I'll snap, and start painting several dwarven armies. I really like the way you did the rock on this one, but overall a good job. GL on the competition. sgtoku
Nice looking job Mercius. The skin is done smooth and transitions great to me. I like how good the base looks too, the rock especially. I wonder how you do rocks like that? Love the beard! As Loim said, good luck to you in the competition!
JimL
Nice work, the green looks great.
Mercius
The rock is from a warhammer basing kit, I painted it black, then drybrushed various greys from the RMS line. Then used the lightest grey I had and white to do extreme edge highlighting on the upper most edges and ridges.
