I had a blast. I'm tired, 'dehydrated', and don't wanna go to work tomorrow.

I think I gained 5 lbs partying so gotta hit the pool.

Wishing safe travels to all and doing my best to not immediately start counting

the days until RC2012...

Packing up & reorganizing my various junk I brought down at the BW right now. This Con was probably one of my favorites. Thanks for a great Saturday night guys. If this is my last RCon for a few years it was good one!

Thanks to everyone at Reaper! Thanks Ed, you run one hell of a company!

till I post from home!

Thanks to everyone and Reaper. My fiance (non-minigamer .. now turned gamer)(nonpainter) and I, enjoyed everything greatly. Special thanks to GM's running the gaming tables. They made everything very enjoyable and inviting.

Nothing like being eaten by zombies, ninjas fighting pirates, blowing up a ship, and a shootout in the denton corral for an amazing weekend!

Much thanks guys!

I had a terrific time as well, the ladies at the mini trade table were saints. ::): Thank y'all for your patience.

I was very happy that I got to play the third part of Chris Witt's Treasures of Destiny Star Wars Saga series. Thanks Chris!!

As always, Reaperbryan was the host with the most, and I gotta give GINORMUS props to Ed and Dave Pugh for being total class guys and opening the doors of their business for all of us.

Here's to Reapercon, where the women are all far more beautiful than their avatar pictures. Although Haldir still doesn't look anything like his avatar.

I can't remember the last time I had as much fun as I did during "Hollywood Squares." At least not with my clothes on.

I'd list the people I need to thank, but doing that would invariably leave someone out, and I'd hate to do that... but I'll particularly mention the people who made Daedalus feel about ten feet tall and asked for commissions. He still can't get over how people who paint minis think his polished pewter is cool...rolleyes.gif

Well, I survived my 1st ReaperCon and actually made it home in one piece. Be doing better at work today if the plane hadn't been running 2.5 hours late!! Ah well. That's the price we pay to play fun games, learn lots o' new painting stuff, and meet plenty of cool people. Had a blast - thanks Reaper (and all the volunteers who help make the Con what it is)!!

I had an absolute blast! Thanks to all of the new friends I made for making my first time so enjoyable (yes, insert joke here...but nothing else)! My only fear is subsequent cons will not live up to this one...so I will just have to go out of my way to ensure they blow it out of the water. Thanks again, Reaper!

And to Bel: *in Helpful Stalker persona* "Yeah, that's hot. I like that. Do that again. Oh wait...you're leaving the room...make sure you turn off the lights because that wastes energy. Yeah, that's hot."

Did you design today's Designbyhumans.com shirt?

I think you did.

Haha! That is freakin' awesome! It's like someone took a picture in the hotel room. I'd like to pick it up but as we all know, I don't really wear t-shirts...

Had a wonderful time, as always. It's particularly cool to see my son get so into the gaming activities. He came back with more minis than he'll ever paint in a year (just like me!) and a massive urge to play more RPGs. Special thanks to everyone running events for helping build the next generation of gamers (and entertain us oldsters as well).

Hair w/Sue was very helpful - highly recommended if your hairdos are looking not quite right. Also had my first class with Michael Proctor on metallics, which was great. And, thanks to paint monkey Bonnot, I at least know why I was having terrible results with cylindrical objects in NMM.

Thanks to Anne for critiquing my painting, the metal trade staff (I'm looking at you in particular, Melissa) for their heroic patience, and Bryan for, well, for being the most interesting man in the world...of minis.

There was cake. I don't think I need to say much more. Best con swag anywhere. BBQ brisket. And cake. The neverending bin of minis. Costumes. Minis. Did I mention cake? Artists and sculptors, oh my. Probably the best con of the year for me now.

Don't really wear t-shirts when hiding behind curtains and about to pounce Bel perhaps...

In public you always had a t-shirt on...
