"That Guy"
Hey everyone! I thought I'd toss my Queen Ileosa up here. I entered it in Reapercon this year. I hope you all enjoy it.
Shortbeard
She is real nice... hope you won something for her. How did you do the base? I think it would look quite good on the Infinity models I just ordered.

All that I did with the base is cut a piece of plasticard to fit into the recess and freehanded the tile effect.
chipchuck
Got to see this one in person. You did a great job.
Bumble_B
This was an amazing piece to see in person. Pictures here don't do it justice. Hopefully someone has some better pics to upload to show off the beauty of this piece. Grats on the Sophie, wonderfully done.

Amazing how some simple plasticard can look so nice. Any special technique in the way you painted the tiles or is it basically what you see is what you get? "That Guy"
Thanks everyone! I hope whenever the pics from the competition go up, the quality of the photo is better than what I currently can produce. The base is done simply by doing a checkerboard pattern and filling in the blanks. I then went back and drew come lines in the squares and highlighted them. Nothing too killer. "That Guy"
Thank you, thank you! I wish I could find a better picture somewhere. I apparently suck at taking pictures of my own stuff. If anyone has better, can you post it please?
