I just had a few really good lessons from Jen Kaufman regarding photography and photoshop. She worked wonders! I hope everyone enjoys!

Thanks for the prop Martin, but all I did was give you a tip on white balancing. You did the rest on your own. You're the one with the Photoshop skills! I don't know how to do fancy stuff like cropping out and replacing the back drop. maybe I should take lessons from you!

Very nice work again Martin. 54mm minis can be a bear to blend by hand but it looks like you handled it well. I can't tell what the pattern is on the freehand in the back...

I'd really like to see Monique on a subtler backdrop. This vibrant textured blue is fighting for dominance with the blue on her armor, and sorry to tell you this but the backdrop is winning!

Regardless of the background this is the most beautiful version of this I have ever seen. Your blending and free hand are super. The color choices are fantastic. One day I hope to blend like that. Keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone. I kind of figured that the background would fight it a bit, but as I was playing around, I only had the blue one. Jen, it really is a real background. I have no idea how to chop a background into a photo. I'll do another couple of photos with a grey background. The freehand on the back kinda ran away from me a bit. I'll attach a photo of the reference that I used for it. The writing is sanscrit. The blending was an interesting challenge to be sure! I'll take a couple more shots tonight on a grey background and see how that turns out!

I agree about the background. I'd suggest a gray.

The freehand on her forehead was interesting, but I was wondering what you were intending to be going on ? Is it just evil-vampire-face or something else?
