Anne
Hi I started painting this at Reapercon, and finished it up for the Wamp painting contest. C&C as always is welcome!
vutpakdi
I really like what you've done with the eyes, face, and the cloak! Ron

Dodson
Anne, I love the finished Mini. It was cool seeing you work on it at ReaperCon and adding to it with each class you took. Great job! You're a talented painter missy.
Anne
Thanks everyone, glad you like her! Good luck to you too Wilwarin, I like your 1st entry very much! There are alot of really nice works in there! Thanks Dodson, it was a ton of fun painting with people at Reapercon! I was trying to implement the techniques from the different classes I took, so they'd stay fresher in my mind.
dks
Wow, very nice. I like the colors (subtle difference in the armor & cloak), the sheen on the hair, the pale skin and the bright eyes, and the scratches/dents on the shield. Good control in picking out the fine details on the armor, too. The highlights on the boots are a little rough compared to the rest (but as I've said, we'll overlook rough boots more easily than a rough face, for example). The edging detail on the cloak looks good, but it seems to be of slightly uneven width on the back -- wider on the left end than on the right end? (I haven't painted anything by Jeff Grace yet, but I think I should do so soon.) Derek

Anne
Thanks guys! Yes Jeff Grace has some awesome sculpts, lots of fun to paint, and so far the castings have been very clean too. Thanks Derek, I'll work on the cloak edge a bit, good eye! I was thinking of trying the reverse scratch technique you talked about for armor embellishing, but was a bit chicken ;) so I'll have to try it on a new mini.
