Orionjp
I've seen several figs that have torches, glowing swords, or facing a object that gives off light. I've seen some poor attempts at it, and I have seen some of the most beautiful minis I have ever seen using it. What is the best technique for this? Arachne
I've been wondering the same thing, or if there are any tutorials on the matter. I've got a half-orc rogue that needs the torch in the dark treatment, and I'm apprehensive about tackling it.
dargrin
Hey welcome to the boards! The technique is called Object Source Lighting (OSL). I am far from and expert on the subject. This was my attempt (Angel og Justice) the idea is thin thin thin coats in the areas that would reflect light. The should be thinker to the light source and gradually lighter further away.
