scotty kahn
Just got this guy done. Still have to go back and re-gloss the blood parts, but you get the idea. ;) More pics and some WIPs of the next one here http://scottysworkshop.blogspot.com/

bikerdrew
That is on nasty looking dude. Great paintwork though - I especially like the tentacles.

scotty kahn
Thanks for the comments all. Any suggestions or kindhearted Critiques?
joshuaslater
That's a fair request mate. If my painting skills were better I would offer more than just cheering. I know there are painters here who can give you better feedback. I'll just kindly ask you to keep posting these pics.
Dinoman87
Well sense you asked he could have a bit more rust on his armour. Kinda like how you have it on the sword. Buy the way I've been meaning to ask you where did you learn to paint like that and can I find any of it online?
scotty kahn
I had thought about rusting up the armor equally as much as the sword, but with the way I do it,it may very well obscure details. Are you wondering about the rust then? If so, I will have a tutorial on my blog relatively soon, about the gritty, rusty bits I do.
Dinoman87
Actually just painting in general. Everything from how you paint metal(rusted or not, skin, blending, washing, and all that other fun stuff.
MonkeySloth
I would highlight up the horns more, this is partly because I'm having trouble deciding if it's bone or wood and some more highlighting would help my eyes figure that out. The sword could use some more highlights on the top half too, something to make the edges pop. The rusting looks great though. I love and tentacles.
