Akiosama
Anne, Just wanted to say congratulations on the upcoming tutorial video coming out - I'm looking forward to it, given my recent hope for more 'how-to's from you. And Jen Haley seems like a nice person to work with, too. I can't wait to snatch it up. Congratulations again! My 2 yen, Akiosama

haldir
Shortbeard Darksword minis will have a dvd coming out (pretty sure it's now out cause it's after GenCon now) that has both Anne Forester & Jen Hailey as instructors on it. Probably will have to pick up a copy for myself. Might help me re-energize my desires to paint again.
Akiosama
And off-topic, but in case you're interested, Jen Haley also has another video coming out from CMoN. My 2 yen, Akiosama

GreyHorde
I bought the 3-DVD set from Dark Sword at Gen Con, can't wait to watch it. Congrats to Anne and Jen! Here's the crazy part: the first classes I took some years ago at Gen Con were 'Color My Mini' with Anne and "Flesh & Faces" with Jen. I think they were even on the same day. Anyway, these two painting dynamos completely restarted my interest in the hobby, so I am positive their DVD instructions will do the same for many others. gtriplet
I picked it up at GenCon at the Dark Sword booth, seemed to be selling pretty well. I can say it's very informative overall, and the camera work is great. They somehow got a camera zoomed right in on the miniature over their shoulders as they worked. Couldn't have been easy for the girls, but very very useful for us to see the stroke-by-stroke painting techniques they're talking about. I just wish mini painting was really as easy as they make it look!
Mercius
This is definitely one I will need to pick up. It is nice to see it get a decent review before I go spend cash on it.

Beowulfthehunter
I have bought numerous painting videos. This along with the Hot Lead Video is the best of what is out there, in addition to being informative it was entertianing at times as they shared stories in addition to telling you how to paint. At the con it was 40 so for that reason alone I had to pick it up. I am curious if anyone picked up the Cool Mini Haley video. I picked up the Alexi Z one last year and I want my money back. I am hoping the Jen video is not as bad even though it seems similar in stlye.
