MamaGeek
Thanks, kit, for setting up another Reaper contest! I definitely plan to enter. I've entered these twice before. I came very close to third place the first time, but I didn't place in either one. Maybe the third time's the charm! Even if it's not, it's still fun to enter, and the challenge is a good motivation to paint my best! "That Guy", I like your owl archer! Nice entry! Anastrianna
Count me as excited! I think I may be able to enter a piece or two. This would be my first contest. I second MamaGeek's comment "That Guy". Nice entries! Looking forward to see more entries!
MonkeySloth
Gosh darnit. I don't know if I'll have time to get anything done as I've got a wedding to attend this week, Worldcon next and Europe the start of September. I guess I could enter stuff I've allready painted but, to me at least, that defeats the purpose which is to paint something new and spend a good amount of time on it. Maltique
Good lord @That Guy... really setting the bar high aren't we? LOL Awesome job and best of luck! I am not going to be in on this one, but I will watch in anticipation!
vegel
One more, just for the heck of it. awesome work, I am working on this too but had decided against using human skin tone, annyway, I will try to enter as well with my Gnome : )
"That Guy"
Have fun painting it. It's really strappy and fiddly.
Kuro Cleanbrush
Things are looking great! I'll be excited to see more entries. Hey, "That Guy," how did you arrange your photos in such a cool little collage-type format? i.e. what program did you use? Thanks!
MamaGeek
Speaking of collages, I'm pretty sure they violate the contest rules. I think you're allowed two side-by-side shots in one image, and that's it. You can post multiple images, though. You might want to ask kit to be sure, so no one gets disqualified. I think only one entry has actually followed that so far, but it's something to look into.

dargrin
I am desperately trying to find the time to finish something so I can enter. Hoping maybe this weekend.

MamaGeek
In response to Maximus: Also I have a question. Could I add another mini he is the reaper mini, BUT on his base is a LOTR warhammer soldier that has been chopped up and converted. Needless to say, he IS NOT A REAPER MINI. But just wondered if he'd be deemed eligible? Thanks. You're allowed to add small elements from other manufacturers, as long as the entry is mainly Reaper. A chopped up soldier as a basing element is probably not a problem. My advice is to go ahead and enter it. The worst that will happen is that kit will disqualify the entry, which is equivalent to not entering it at all, so why not? There's really no downside. EDIT: Apologies for the shadow at the bottom of almost every shot, the lens on my camera sticks out and it casts a shadow when it flashes.... a slight manufacturing oversight methinks.... You are allowed to crop your images, so you can remove the shadows is you like.
dsmiles
Crap. I should have entered my Mouslings. Unfortunately they're not finished. Maybe I still have time (but I have sooooo many other minis to paint...). EDIT: Hopefully, I'll have two more entries before this is over... EDIT (Mk II): Two more entries posted. I'll honestly be surprised if I make top three, what with some of those entries. Edited August 29, 2011 by dsmiles
