Stubbdog
Just wanted to say I like the new sable guard models. Hope we might get a second sculpt where the steed is rearing up and pouncing or something like that, but still this one is nice from what I can see. If Kit or other web mod sees this, the Sisters tags still need to be added to the model so it shows up on their page.
Humansquish
So excited that these guys have finally came out. I hope we are able to get a 2nd sculpt too, as I think the ferret looks a little wierd in this picture. I'm hoping to pick one up this week to look at it in person though. Stubbdog
i think its just that the neck does not look long enough, but it might be the angle.
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted August 30, 2011 Moderator Share Posted August 30, 2011 Is the sculpt in one or two pieces? I didn't see a boneyard link for it.
"That Guy"
It's one piece.
herzogbrian
I have been waiting for these to come out ever since I saw the concept art during 2d Edition playtesting. It is sad that they are coming out just as Warlord is dying a slow death. Most of my group have dropped Warlord in the last 6 months (leaving me by myself again), and several of the guys that I know in other states have dropped as well. Most site lack of support from Reaper and the fact that the there is no demo team for the last 2 years (after Black Lightning was scrubbed). Still a Sweet model that looks like an easy convert to put the lance back into her hand. Now to stop buying my 10a coffee to save up for 6-10 of these babies!!!! Ddot
These are the kind of off-the-wall models that will get people (back) into the game. Well, I think they're very cool, and I have good taste in minis. The big problem for me is that I need access to Sisters faction doctrines (plus any additional info from Savage North if any) to play them. But it's the kind of model I'd pick one up just to paint it- cuz it's cool.
Fruggs
Get yourself a Savage north book and all the doctrines should be there....

I built up a nice group and then the shiny new from Privateer hit and killed it. I have ideas to fix it. However it is a fix that must come from Reaper. Personally I wish I had the capital to buy the property from them because what the Reaper games need is a Pathfinder like agreement. They make x number of new figures a year so games can thrive and game company produces games. Back OT this is a neat model I'm just saddened that it isn't as dynamic as the concept art. It's like they're phoning it in on this model. I really hope for a second sculpt but I doubt it will ever happen.
Qwyksilver
I really hope for a second sculpt but I doubt it will ever happen. I haven't seen an alt sculpt of a single cavalry model in the Warlord line, so I think signs point to unlikely. That being said, if the model sells like hotcakes, and there's enough of a demand, anything is possible.
