MamaGeek
I painted this one up for playing D&D. He's just a gaming mini, so he's not my best. He also has a lot of varnish on him, so he's a bit shiny in places.
haldir
Nice! Reminds me of Pintel from PotC movies
Orionjp
I like him, dark and dirty and grimy. Not your best but still cool. And OMG he totally looks like him!!!!!!!!!
Kormydigar
Nice and gritty. You can take some of the shine off him with a quick dusting of Testors dullcote.
joshuaslater
Lots of attitude.
Dr.Bedlam
It has irritated me more than once that MamaGeek's "dashed off, Tabletop Quality" stuff is about on a par with my "ready to submit for awards judging" stuff. Maybe once I've finished Anne's DVD...
Ferox
I'm right there with ya, Dr. B. MG, I really dig the highlights and shading you did on the trousers, especially around the knees. Makes it look like he's been living in those clothes for months now.
Jabberwocky
Yup, the worn look to the trousers is a great touch. Wonderful job on the 5 o'clock shadow too!
Dr.Bedlam
Exactly my point. It never would have OCCURRED to me to give him a five o'clock shadow. Unless I was workin' off her pictures.
MamaGeek
I can't claim credit for the unshaven look. I got that from a Derek Schubert paint job, an iconic fighter, I believe. Thanks for all the kind words, y'all! (I love saying "y'all." It's the perfect contraction of "you" and "all," and now that I live in VA, it's acceptable to say it. Much better than the "yous guys" from where I grew up in NY.)
Ishil
Lovely. You've really given him character. Ishil
