This is my second attempt at NMM, she is much better, but the photo doesn't bring out some of the brighter parts of the NMM I think. Any advice on any of this would be great.

The hammer came off while painting, BEFORE I put her on the medicine bottle, and the tip of her hair was the first to break off, and its too delicate to re attatch. Again, any advice on any of her would be a great help.

To me it looked like a pleated skirt, its hard to explain. I think it was supose to be a leather paneled skirt, but mom wanted it light blue, so I did it how it looked right at the time. I'll hold off on any changes to the blue skirt till I'm finished, then I might lighten the shadow or darken the highlight.

Now that you folks mention the blue skirt, it sure looks like it has brighter highlights than the NMM. It should probably be the other way around -- and you might have better luck figuring out how much contrast you need on the NMM if you tone down the highlights on the skirt with a glaze or two of the midtone.

Actually in person the highlights are a little brighter than the skirt, but I think I can highlight the metal some, well the gold anyway. I haven't painted in a while and I have ADD so I paint like 4 or 5 models at the same time so i don't get bored, so I haven't worked on her recently. I'm workking on the boots and leather under armor, and I'm changing the shoulders from metal to leather, i think it will look more appropreat. One day I will finish SOMETHING hahaha.
