Akela
Well, after it brought home a passel of awards... we started up a group. Anyone else get to actually play this game yet? Thoughts? Opinions? Good? Bad? Caveats? For grins I threw our game up on Obsidian Portal as well in case you're of a mind: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/dfd We played our first session last week, still trying to get a handle on the Aspects system.
Dr.Bedlam
Haven't actually played it, but it's a fine sourcebook for the series of novels. Nice read, too. Made me wish the TV series had gone further...
Akela
Well in interesting news, the Obsidian Portal community saw fit to give our Dresden Files game a nod as "Campaign of the Month" for December 2011. I have played and run several Dresden Files games. I would recommend trying out some of the other FATE system games if you want to get a handle on aspects. They are more fun when they can be compelled. And it can get very fun if the players start compelling other player's character's aspects. So encourage players to pass poker chips around. The only complaint we had with the game was, that the wizards are way more powerful than the non-magical PCs. I know that the books are this way, but it causes all the action to center on one or two characters.
Girot
I tried to start up a game but it fizzled and died during character creation. It was a real bummer too, I spent three weeks turning Jacksonville, FL into a surpernatural hotspot.

If you include any online players I'd love to get in on this!! Google Hangouts is really handy for RPing as it turns out.
Corporea
I'd play- I read all the books, watched the series, but haven't bought the RPG yet. Let me know if you get takers and I'll pick up the rulebook.
Girot
If nothing else the books are fun to read. They're litterly written by the Alphas with little notes and stuff left in the margins by Harry and Bob. Even if I never got to play I got to laugh my butt off reading the books.
Qwyksilver
The game books are hilarious! And they did a great job getting Harry and Bob's snark for all the margin notes.
