Reaper rocks...literally

Whew, forgot it was Halloween tonight, because they cancelled local trick-or-treating because of all the downed trees and power outages.

Rmemebered at dinner, but was busy with clean up and getting the kids into bed and then decided to relax and watch a movie.

 

Just finished a movie and was shocked at the hour.

 

Just in the nick of time!!!

'Tsokay though, I placed two orders, separated by a payday, and the other had a loverly Witch. :)

 

I paint enough undead that I was happy with the colors chosen for the bag.

Also got my first really up close & personal look at those new cases. I like! I'll have to put a order in for the paint one here soon. Also love the Bubblegum Pink paint, great shade!

 

Also candy was good too, ate everything except the Laffy Taffy (yuck!).

We ended up with 4 orders because hubby kept remembering other stuff he wanted. LoL We got 4 rocks, which he plans on displaying in pack until I decide what sort of nifty sculpture to make out of them.

There were a couple of the sample bottles of paint that I wanted to ask about though... One was Elven Skin--is this part of a new triad perhaps? And a Bubblegum Pink that seems to go quite well with the Blush pink--another new triad maybe? (Yes, I am a paint junkie.) Any hints, clues or other info?

The Elven Skin was a promotional color we did for the PAX Prime convention goody bags, so no, no triad. Sorry. Bubblegum Pink was a charismatic "Ooops" that was liked enough to have a larger batch made of it.

 

When I make a promotional color, it is almost always a color we have made that has gone OOP and that customers have asked for again, an "Ooops" that I especially like (another color that was mixed incorrectly) or something I've had in my head to make for a while that I haven't been able to do because we stopped doing MSP cancellations. Along those lines, any new MSP colors you'll see are going to be in the HD line, our upcoming Heavy Gear Colors line for Dream Pod 9, or our upcoming (farther off) brand-new mega-awesome Historical Colors MSP line (yes, that was a tease...). I would prefer to simply add new colors to different lines, rather than go back to cancelling colors out of the existing MSP's in order to make room for more (no matter what you do, you always cancel someone's favorite... ).

Actually, I discovered I liked Bubblegum Pink for the Monster From Planet X's gums, and have found a variety of other uses for it. It's handy. Which is good, because I think I've got five bottles of it, now... Briathel loves attending Reaper functions, but doesn't paint, so I wind up with all of his paints!
