Digital M@
OK, here is my first mini in years. I know I posted about 6 months ago with Horace "Action" Jackson, but he is still quite unfinished. Anyway here is my rendition of Sid. I see him as an old Punk Rock musician trying to recapture some of the glory days. I wanted to put a syringe, a beer can and some trash on the stage, but decided it was time to move on and painted the Anarchy "A". His face was difficult, lots of sharp lines and I found it hard to get my transitions the way I like. This was my first attempt at shiny leather (not glossy) with the leather jacket. I am pretty happy with the results for my first time. His left foot came unpinned from the base as I removed him from my painting rig. I will have to glue him back down. I did not use the correct colors for the brown on the guitar straps. I wanted a warm soft brown to compliment the guitar, but I was painting under cool lights and did not notice how off I was in y color choice until I was done. Anyway, my ego is not fragile, give me both the good and any suggestions for improving. thanks for looking

neuroticGOD
Very nice. I especially like the skin tone and the guitar. My only suggest is to maybe rethink the hair color...A mohawk just screams for color variation! Great job...you plonker!
Ferox
Classic -- I really like the colour choices. I think the 'hawk's fine as it is: with the white tee-shirt it frames the face nicely.
Inarah
Very nice. The guitar and the jacket look great. I think the faded areas on the jeans could be more pronounced.
Dr.Bedlam
The hair screams for some kind of Dennis Rodman color variation. Otherwise, very nice.
Ddot
The leather jacket is cool, especially the back side. The face is cool, the 5 o'clock shadow was a really nice touch. White t-shirt was done perfectly, which doesn't feel right for the mini- needed some beer stains ;) . The blacklining on the guitar looks a bit heavy up close, but very cool capturing the punk-rock feel.
Thaelynne
I actually like the black line on the guitar, and I agree that the back of the jacket was really well done. I think you can do more to the jeans/demin look, if that's what you want to go for. Some cross-hatching and a wash to soften it, I think this is a great figure for that look. (Not many fantasy figs wear jeans!)
