A little help

Not sure if this is the right forum section or not so if you are a mod please feel free to move. I found these as I was cleaning out my closet. I was able to find the 75mm Donatello on Ebay so I have an idea of what it might be worth but the other 25mm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of the four, I'm clueless. There are some old packages on ebay of them but they have guns and the ones I have have the original weapons. I just wondered if anyone might be able to tell me what year they are from and what they might be worth.

Thanks all.

I know Dark Horse was making those TMNT 25mm ones around 1986-1988; I have a set. I have no idea what they're worth. I've been offered upwards of $100 for my painted set, but the guy who did that was an idiot, so I hesitate to take his word for the idea of what they're worth.

So, I can't give you an exact answer or provide any info that a simple internet search wouldn't provide, but I was so excited by the sight of these little guys that I had to do some digging. In the few places that I found them or something from the same set for sale (ebay and a blog) the little guys seemed to run anywhere between $20-$50 per package. However, judging by how awesome the set is and how difficult they are to find for sale, I'd estimate that they run on the high end of the scale.

You've given me something cool to keep an eye out for on ebay, so thanks!

The large ones aren't worth as much, you'll find them on ebay for under $10 often enough, as for the 25mm guys I'm sure an average price for them is under $30 but if you can find the right buyer you could probably get a lot more.

With this kind of thing it's really hard to place a value on them because they're only worth what someone is willing to pay and most of the time something that's old like this, and kind of hard to find, really aren't worth that much because there aren't a lot of people looking for them. So when it comes to ebay you have to get multiple people interested to really get a high price and I really haven't seen that happen often outside of some Rackham stuff.

My buddy was the owner of Dark Horse Miniatures (as well as out local game store for years). I have seen the TMNT and Groo minis he did go for around $25-$30 a pack 10 years ago, not sure if they are the same or go for more now. The Robotech ones prolly even more. He gave me all of his groo minis back in the day since I was a groo fan.
