klarg1
Can anybody tell me what to expect out of Houston (IAH)? There are some reasonable flights available through there, but I'd have to rely on getting from flight to flight in an hour or less - something I try to avoid at O'Hare, but which I might chance at a smaller/less busy airport. A one hour connection at IAH could be particularly tight if you are going from a "normal" United flight serviced by a 737 or Airbus jet to a commuter flight (Embraer 145 or CRJ type) because the commuter type flights are serviced at another terminal (B for commuter, C & E for non commuter). Even between non commuter flights, an hour at IAH might be tight: IAH is a large airport. Between two commuter type jets is probably okay (since they should all be at Terminal B). That's what I figured. I dug up a terminal map, and IAH looks pretty spread out. It's surprising that so many of the flights that turn up are set up to have such short layovers in major airports (some as low as 40 minutes!) It might be worth paying a little more to get a direct flight on jetBlue. Thanks for your help!
Anastrianna
Well there is a very HIGH possibility that Thaelynne and I will be heading to ReaperCon this year! This will be my 2nd Con and her first. I attended the 2006 Con. We have been talking about making the trip for 2 years now and looks like we're finally going to make it happen! Now just to iron our flights, transportation, hotel, etc.

Captain Murray
A question about acquiring passes for the Con. When you buy it by the site, it will be sended something physical like a paper ticket to my mail address? Or I can just buy the pass, receive a e-mail and print it so I can get my tickets at the Con? I need to know since I live in Brazil and I´m kind worry for the tickets not arriving here at time. best regards
Pole
You will need to bring the card you ordered the tickets with and an ID to the con. You pick up your ticket and goody bag at the front desk. At least that is how it was last year I believe.
Acuteapathy
I hope I'm posting this in the right place - I'd hate to distract from people making con travel arrangements or similar. I am out in South Africa and the Con is therefore a rather far off dream for me at this time. I would, however, love to partake of the Con swag even if I am unable to be there in person. Is it possible to buy a ticket simply for the bag? If so, I assume that the cost of said ticket along with any other goodies I should order from the site would all fall within the free shipping over GBP35 that Reaper offers? Would it be possible then to have said other goodies held back and shipped together with the bag under the free postage? Secondly, when adding a ticket to the basket with the site set to GBP, the ticket is added as GBP30 and not the lower amount one would expect given the GBP/$ exchange rate. I assume that's deliberate? Apologies again if these questions have been posted in the wrong place and to all of those of you lucky enough to be able to attend - have fun! Captain Murray
Well, I will set up the delivery to Brazil and hope for the tickets to arrive at time. If for some reason, the mail do not get here at least I know I can enter the Con with my ID.
Pole
Lichlord, I am sorry I wasn't very clear. The tickets do not ship. You get an entry badge inside of your swag badge when you check in at the front desk at the Con.
Captain Murray
Ok, now I got it. :-) The first time I tried to buy the tickets, he asked me to choose a shipping option, that´s why I thought the tickets would be shipped. Probably was a website mistake. Now I tried again and states No Shipping Required. Thanks for the help
Shogan
What if you didnt use a card? We paid with paypal/bank account.
haldir
It does that, the shipping option but there is no physical ticket. You'll get a sheet of paper with whatever you bought for the Con when you arrive at Reaper. If anything your ID badge is your ticket Shogan Same thing, doesn't matter if you use credit card or paypal when paying it's all the same. No ticket mailed to you. If anything you could print off your paypal receipt & bring that with you just in case but I've been coming since 05 & I've yet to have a problem.
