Very nicely done. I like the way you managed to not make her look slutty.

I've always thought this miniature had a rather masculine face. That said, I think you did a nice job of making the whole scene more feminine.

You did a great job on this one. My wife bought me this mini for my b'day but I havent had the chance to do much other than come up with a color scheme, which will be similar to yours (the biggest difference will be the hair color).

@Inarah - Thank you for that. I just didn't get that slutty vibe from this one. ;) Really though I liked the idea of a more subtle sensuality about her. I'm glad it came across. Thank you.

 

@Adrift - I noticed a bit of difficulty in painting the face on this one. The hair in the way it parted over the face actually made it a bit difficult to get the eyes to work the way I wanted them to. I'm glad that it came out in the end and that it worked to make the piece more feminine to you. Thank you for the compliment.

 

@Captenglish Thank you too, I'm so glad she has been so well recieved. I wish you luck in your painting efforts with her and look forward to seeing your take on this piece. What were you thinking, more brunette? Red headed? Raven Haired? Either way, I hope you'll share.
