Popular Post Adrift
Painted this guy over the weekend. I decided to go with a 'dark hero' swordmage/avenger feel to this miniature. The actual paint colors were inspired by a shirt that my 22 month old has. It's a shirt that I wished I owned as an adult. Sorry for the blurriness of the face picture. All my photos are done with my iPhone 4, so I just don't have the ability to macro and get as close up as I'd like.
Stubbdog
The colors of the clothing is sweet. Love the vibrancy of it. But, have to admit it feels contradictary to your dark face mask and black sword that go with it.
Adrift
Guess I'm too much of an RPGer at heart. I envisioned him being very mage-like and colorful...but with a darker side that comes out when it's time for business. :)
Loim
Love the sword on this guy. Great job overall. I kind of like the clash between the bright and dark.

Akiosama
Adrift, I think the colors came out looking very brilliant on this model. While at first I was going to mention something about the blending on the cape and how I personally am working on trying to make my blends more subtle, I realized that I really like the way the painting of the cape came out. It looks, from the photos above, very suede in texture. The blues are also sharp and smooth, and the transitions for the colors come out more artistic and add to the overall appearance of the figure, despite not being as gradated as some of the other painters' works out there. Well done. My 2 yen, Akiosama

Jasonator
Adrift; I really like the fine details that you have done on this..so subtle. The chest details are almost like a stained glass, the color blends are so smooth, and that color depth..mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm...Delicious. I also like that two toned flattened Lotus-ish base..just fits so well.
