Darkstar
Lola, she's been around forever, since 2002, and still stands up to today's sculpts in terms of packing in the detail. I thought of the song All Along the Watchtower when painting this mini and I think I've made her look like both the Joker and the Thief here. Loads of things going on. The bag in her hand is getting touched up, now that I notice it I forgot to bring it up to standar with the rest of the mini. Sometimes that happens on the complicated ones with billions of accessories. The big success on this piece was the Strawberry Blonde hair. That came out nice I think. I'm usually not too happy with anything I paint but for once, I like something well enough.
Thaelynne
I see we have a similar taste in minis! <laugh> I LOVE, truly love, what you did with her hair. I'm obviously judging this just on the picture, and I didn't see the subtle strawberry hints, but a medium dark blonde, very nice. A very detailed sculpt and I really like what you did with her. Even if I do try to stay away from pinks.
Adrift
I like what you did with this mini as well; the hair is very nice! I like your overall choice of palette and I'm also infatuated with complex sculpts. I think a mini of this same name was recently released as a pathfinder mini?!? I wasn't aware of this version but I like it.
Stern Kestrelmann
Yeah, this one still holds up as a classic sculpt, one of the first Warlord pieces to hit the shelves... Very nice version of her Sean. The blister pack also came with a little steeple piece, so it looked like she was skipping across a roof top... I always wanted to take off her mask and see what she looks like... Good stuff man. SK
Ishil
Daunting miniature to paint, but that is amazing. I love that you've put plenty of colours in there, but they all work together. Ishil

Bumble_B
wonderfully done as usual. Amazing use of those colors ... you really feel it throughout the whole piece.
bettagirl
You have quickly become one of my most favorite mini painters!
Warlady
Love her hair, love the colors, love the details - OK, I just love what you did with this mini!
Nameless
lovely piece... I'm jealous of how you painted and distincted every single element here... I'm not as tidy with my paintjobs. I'd like to repeat my comment on basing from your other thread (with elven archer) btw, does she have her right wrist broken. I've just tried to twist my hand like that... not the easiest thing to do
Darkstar
Hey thanks folks, glad you like her she's a very iconic old mini for sure. Yeah her wrist/dagger pose is awkward I've always thought she would look better with it pointing the other way, which could have been done easily enough with a conversion, getting her dagger off of her leg would have been tricky but doable with a little care. FMLament
Great job, very colorful. I get the sense of huge celebration not unlike Marti Gras. Fantastic piece...
dks
Wow, lovely! (You know how I like my orange-green-purple/pink Secondary Triad schemes!) Really like the shimmering strawberry blonde hair. I see that red in its shadows, so I know it isn't a plain blonde. Also really like the green brass on the lamp, and the shine (with under-reflections) on the silver studs. The shadows on her face look a little too much like the pink-magenta of the bodice, so I probably would have brought the skin shadows back toward brown/red. The dagger looks nice as bright steel, but I think I would have made the hilt noticeably different from the blade, since this is about the only place on the figure where you used the same color for two adjoining areas. Silas Coggeshall
That is awesome. I'm really liking her color scheme. I really see nothing wrong with it. :P
Mojoman
Hey thanks folks, glad you like her she's a very iconic old mini for sure. Yeah her wrist/dagger pose is awkward I've always thought she would look better with it pointing the other way, which could have been done easily enough with a conversion, getting her dagger off of her leg would have been tricky but doable with a little care. I agree, the dagger positioning is a little akward... the only problem I would see in conversion is that her entire arm is rotated to allow her hand to be in position to hold it that way... of course, if you just changed the direction she's gripping the dagger, I suppose that could work. Fantastic work on the mini... as soon as the page loaded, I was like, "OOOoooooOOOO...." Thanks for sharing!
