dks
This is the third of my hellborn sculpts that I have painted recently -- and the last until I sculpt another hellborn! I used a palette similar to those of the earlier two, but Damien's colors emphasize purple and red-brown, with a few little green accents. As a wizard (or warlock or sorcerer or whatever he is), he has an image of prestige and otherworldly power to project. Tiviel the female rogue has more dark brown and crimson in her palette, and Vaeloth the male paladin has more red and orange. For the Damien figure, I also sculpted options for a wand or an orb in his left hand. I thought it would be weird to paint all 3 options and swap them out for different photos, so I simply chose the staff for this rendition. The base is made of putty, sculpted around the figure's integral metal base. Enjoy, Derek
FMLament
Very nice, great color scheme and beautiful job on the staff and cloak. Very impressive muscle work too...
vutpakdi
I love the rich leather colors on the robe. Do you remember what colors that you used? Ron
Stern Kestrelmann
Hey that's nice. Love the browns and rich, deep skin tones... Freehand is subtle, but solid. Base is really cool too. SK
Adrift
Amazing paint and blending per usual. I love this sculpt and really enjoyed the fact that it did come with three options for different spellcasting...for future sculpting reference ;)
Darkstar
Wow this guy looks straight out of the monster manual. I like the style and perfect harmony of colors. Symettry is hard to get right with freehand patterns (also hard to spell) you've done a great job nailing the little trim on his jacket, very fitting. The hand sculpted base is a nice touch, this figure is a great fit for the other two tieflings.
MamaGeek
Beautiful work, as always, and I think the purples really add something to the character of this one. Nice addition!
Marsya
This is the third of my hellborn sculpts that I have painted recently -- and the last until I sculpt another hellborn! I can't wait until you sculpt up some more. I love all three only got paint on one so far myself, however I look forward to painting them all. Looking at your paint jobs just inspires me to keep painting them. Excellent work on the sculpts and the paint jobs. Thank you!

Darkmeer
Would you mind sharing the color mix for the flesh? http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/43695-03419-vaeloth-hellborn-paladin/ Derek did the Vaeloth, Hellborn paladin in similar tones, and he did post the flesh colors there, too.
