odinsgrandson
Ok, I knew I had to get a copy of Super Dungeon Explore when I saw the Angry Bear mini. Now, I've painted him up in colors that I hope put a new light on him. I hope to have emphasized his anger: And he might spend a little part of the game as a druid:

Super Administrators kit Posted March 8, 2012 Super Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2012 That's fantastic. I needed that smile today. The way you captured the expression on the little druid is just great.

Fitzeolas
Ohh man! Hillarious. I am really enjoying your take on the art style. Your attempt you capture the comic book appearance I am sure these minis were intended for is spot on. Great work.
Marsya
I love the super dungeon explore minis. I bought the metal heroes that they sold but not the game, after seeing how you painted up the druid I may have to pick up the game . Excellent job both turned out perfect. odinsgrandson
Thanks. Now, I've got a whole box that I need to get painted up before that set with the Turtles and Dwarven Spilunker comes out. Then I'll have to decide if he'll be green or red...
odinsgrandson
Ok, I had a lot of requests on some other forums where I posted him, so I've done a write up on how I painted the fur. I haven't used this technique very much yet (although I'm now seeing more and more minis that call for it). I think I first did something like this on hair that wasn't sculpted onto the mini. And I'm pretty sure that I'll be using this method again when I get a hold of Delphyne and Ekhis.
