Slendertroll
Some players are reaaaaaal finicky about getting a mini exactly as they see their character, Reaperbryan, on 26 Jan 2013 - 09:47, said: a convention asked me for a fighter with a bow, and I presented them with 02918: Mason Thronwarden, Ranger. The customer expressed joy at the perfect model, but before reaching the register, turned back to me and said he could not get that mini, he needed a Fighter with a Bow, and the package clearly marked him as a Ranger. LOL actually that mini is also tagged as "rogue" as well and is in studded leathers with a recurve short bow and a "sneaky" pose. If my PC was a more standard fighter type, more heavily armoured and with an English longbow then that mini wouldn't really fit. Saying that, my group just uses minis for markers. We have an odd assortment of minis of which about 20 are useful as PCs and so a player just gets the one which is the closest fit. Two handed fighter? Then you get the bare-chested barbarian with the great sword. The issue wasn't that the mini wasn't right--the customer reportedly said it was perfect--but the packaging was the only problem. And same with our group. I'm always a little confused by the people on this forum who talk about having, say, one goblin be blue, so that the players will freak out when you put him down on the table. My players would just think it was a normal goblin with a blue mini, unless I told them otherwise. And the "city watch" minis are the same as the King's guards and the evil swordsmen and maybe a Fighter PC or something, depending on the moment. ObsidianCrane
Look in the Familiars packs, there are a number of tiny female fairy like critters among them. I'm really hoping for a male pixie at some point. There's literally no mini choice anywhere for one. For females, I've been using Squinkies. Yeah, I saId it. You mean like P14041B: Dark Fairy and I use P14041D: Little Death as a pixie as well for 4E.

I do expect to use her (or maybe multiples as different pixie-types) when the bones are out!
ObsidianCrane
Nope Dark Fairy is male or at least it's a very flat chest for a female model even compared to other familiar sized models. Which is why I mentioned him when male pixies were brought up.
zoroaster100
I definitely would most like to see large and huge creatures in Bones. Sure, the smaller minis in Bones are great too, but the really big ones is where Bones shines the most. I'd love to see more giants, especially female giants, and also some mounted figures, especially those that represent common mounted adventurers in D&D games, like a mounted knight on a horse, a mounted wizard with a staff on a horse, mounted cleric with a mace on a horse, mounted ranger with a bow on a horse. Also some less common mounted minis could be nice, occasionally, such as a mounted dwarf on a bear, a mounted elf or dwarf on a hippogriff or griffon, etc.
ShadowRaven
halflings and gnomes on ponies, or riding dogs
Enpeze
I would love to see some models for the city watch. Maybe a dashing captain and several not-so-perfect guards - including a smaller and a bigger (beer belly? :)) guy. With armor fitting around the beer belly like a mold around Jello?... And... some villainous city guard, for the heroes to dispatch be the score. The Auld Grump yeah. maybe we can get even some villaineous city guards with a big black moustache AND a beer belly. :) Edited March 25, 2013 by Enpeze
zoroaster100
I like the idea of the city guards with different looks including the potbellied one and the villanous one, etc.
TheHetman
I like the idea of the city guards with different looks including the potbellied one and the villanous one, etc. The overweight, disappointed captain that was pushed off to some backwater to serve out his time and his evil deputy, always asking for bribes (especially from strange adventurers) and pushing himself upon woman.

Koboldhammer
As i like playing clerics, i always run into the problem of summoned monsters, that is the lack of them. Where is the giant snake? A decent wolverine (yes there is one in metal, but from the picture it does not look fearsome). As many of these, like the giant centipede, can be used as dungeon or wilderness encounters, they are very handy for both clerics, druids and DMs. If you want them celestial, just put some gold on them, fiendish: dip them in black, you get the general idea. Slendertroll
I second riding dogs. Either giant ones for humans or normally sized ones for halflings, gnomes and fairies.
Koboldhammer
Riding dogs would be nice....and a donkey. Not a mule, a cute little donkey for my dwarf to carry all the gold in the dungeon. Mules do not fit in the dungeon. Maybe some sets of legs in a riding position in case repositioning your mini wont work. Cut of at the middle and stick it on the riding legs so your dragonslayer now rides a pegasus. Personally i would not buy a pegasus, but i know some vain players who would. I am more the sort of person to let scores of goblins on riding dogs loose on the players. Did i say i second riding dogs? And please do not make em look like the mutated wargs peter jackson came up with. Very hairy dogs with large fangs will do just fine.
TheAuldGrump
A hut on chicken legs, with a fence that is capped with skulls, an outdoor oven, and a very large mortar and pestle. With a very tall, bony legged, iron toothed hag as the owner. The hungry winter made flesh. Too expensive for metal, but in Bones? How many RPGs don't have The Little Grandmother? D&D and Pathfinder both have her, Vampire: the Masquerade, GURPS Hellboy, even the old Indian Jones RPG. Heck, in some games the PCs can end up owning that hut.... *EDIT* There are a lot of good images for that hut... here is one from Elfwood - The Auld Grump Edited March 27, 2013 by TheAuldGrump
