ObsidianCrane
As the Bones minis have the standard molded bases for DHL models, one thing I would love to see added for Bones is bases intended to hold the minis. As an RPG gamer that means 25mm bases for human sized models, 50mm for large models like ogres and such, and 75mm bases for big things like Dragons. Ideally round bases, but square ones are fine imo. Full 25mm etc round bases make the miniatures far more stable than the sometimes very thin bases that come cast to the minis and having a base that will hold the molded base means getting a more uniform height for minis (rather than Reaper minis growing by their base). DrMathias
I've been hoping for big, large, and giant spiders ever since I heard of the Bones range. I want scads of the things.
David Goodner
Having gotten a solid start on the Bones line I’m pleased to hear it is being expanded and very much want to see more! What I need are monsters that are fairly common in FRPGs and often used in multiples. Here are some specific models I’d like to see: SNIP LIST That's a great list. I pretty much echo the whole thing. Lots of generic figures of use to a GM, and I suspect GMs are Reaper's primary customers (discounting wargamers). Minis probably have a sales distribution not unlike RPG books. Every player needs a mini for his character (or several, if he's a player like me...) but the GM also needs figures for NPCs, generic goons, and monsters. I don't mind paying five or six bucks for one character, but I couldn't even try to afford the many hundreds of bucks I'd have to spend to buy a horde of orks. Right now I hit up the secondary market for old D&D and Star Wars figures. When I run a modern/sci-fi game, the bad guys are often portrayed by Mandalorian soldiers. I'd totally love to be able to have a bunch of orks, a bunch of zombies, and so on. And in the bright future day when you have Chronoscope figures, I'll do the same with soldiers, cops, Nova Corps guys, and clowns. (Don't ask) I only wish I could get painted ones, but I'll take Bones figs. I'll also second the common sentiment that larger models will probably work well as Bones figs. The weight of the pewter does get serious fast. David G.
Evilmonkey
I really want to see the Warlord cavalry and monsters in Bones. The non-elite troops would also be a great option as well. I feel it would allow Reaper to offer army boxes for Warlord that contain a pewter leader, some troops in Bones, and a monster also in Bones. I will agree that CAV is a great option for the Bones treatment.
Dr. Propaganda
First I'd like to commend you on your new line, and many of the choices you've made so far. For the first time, my low level adventurers will face a proper contingent of kobolds, and it cost me less than $20. Bravo. I would like to see the Bones line help to flesh out a lot of the common monsters that as a DM I see frequently in a variety of different game systems and world systems. I'd like to see iconic monsters (purple worm, awesome cast) and humanoids that we need large numbers (Orcs, kobolds, skeletons, all nice, but the larger casts, the gnolls, bugbears, ogres and trolls all excellent examples of the value of Bones) of added to the line to help us bulk up our stores of adversaries. Characters and unique individuals are nice, but speaking as a player the temptation to buy a bunch of heroes and run short on monsters is often overpowering. With that in mind, I'd like to reccomend the following casts: 65058: Dire Wolves (2) 65107: Dire Crocodile 65103: Stone Giant 65082: Giant Spiders (2) 65068: Owl Bear 65019: Charnel Grub 60090: Degenerate Serpentfolk 14638: Shade Beast 02697: Yeti 14537: Xeldorian, Tyrant of Darkness 14498: Nagendra Warrior 03021: Velociraptors (2) 14459: Couatl 02878: Dire Bear 14216: Harpy, Reven Adept 14209: Mossbeard, Elven Monster 03609: Hell Hound 03603: Chthon 03585: Oxidation Beast 03544: Fire Beetles (2) 03517: Mockingbeast 03487: Dragonette 03477: Brain Horror 03390: Lizardman Tyrant 03277: Hyena Pack (2) 03243: Swamp Shambler 03146: Frog Men (2) 03092: Axebeak, Prehistoric Bird 03084: Virina, Female Demon 03077: Goblins II 02917: Birdman 03528: Dust Scorpions (2) 02871: Wererats (2) 02865: Flesh Golem 02841: Basilisk 02819: Gloom Wraith 02788: Leorelex, Dragon Lion 02755: Marunma, Naga 02751: Stone Golem 02737: Dung Monster 02730: Cavern Crawler 02691: Striges 02675: Giant Snake 02674: Chimera 02665: Killer Frogs 02664: Phase Cat 02658: Stone Lurker 02639: Manticore 02631: Cockatrice 02156: Mummy Of Hakir 02486: Ogre Mage 02479: Ettin 02436: Kazala The Efreet 02379: Gargoyle Warrior 02354: Medusa 02151: Starmane, Unicorn 02012: Hooked Terror 02780: Water Elemental 02778: Air Elemental 02779: Fire Elemental 02777: Earth Elemental You also have several excellent dragons in your line up ranging from horse-sized to much larger. Any or all of these would be excellent additions to your Bones line. In addition, I would love to see you offer some of your excellent army packs (like 06002: Men At Arms Of Breonne or 06058: Mummies or any of your Lizardman sets) to flesh out tribes or armies quickly and cheaply. Thanks for Your Attention.
Stephen G. Roy
I'd have to say there are certain staple RPG monsters that just aren't worth paying for in metal. Slimes/Molds/Oozes/Jellies are one of those types that needs to be in plastic. Clear plastic please!
kristof65
Elementals would make me happy. I need a horde of elementals right now, and it's starting to get expensive.
Korbl
I'd love to see some necromancers, demon summoners, devil worshippers and warlocks, since I tend to play those. In a variety of races as well. Also, if some goblin "hero" figures could be done, that'd be pretty cool as well. They aren't always members of a faceless horde, after all! Jordan Peacock
(Repeating a suggestion I mentioned on the Kickstarter forum.) I've been running Pirates RPG campaigns off and on (mostly on) for about 5 years now, and I could still use would be more Reaper rank-and-file pirates and such -- and so far it looks like pirate-y types are mostly offered under the Dark Heaven and Warlord ranges, so I'm hoping that's still "fantasy" enough for Bones. A few particular things I think would be useful: * Pirate -- e.g., 14388 - Blackreef Pirate. Yarrr! The key point is that it's a rank-and-file sort, so I can justify getting several. * Barbary Coast Corsair -- e.g., 02439 - Urji, Arab Pirate. He'd also make a great swordsman for "Arabian Nights"-style fantasy. * Undead Pirate -- e.g., 14349 - Skeletal Crewman. This one is great for conversions, since it's not hard to replace the axe or the empty hand with a flintlock-clutching hand as needed. * Cannon -- e.g., 14084 - Soulcannon. The cannon itself could work for still-breathing pirates, too. The important thing is that a PLASTIC cannon is something I could more readily get in quantity to outfit a pirate ship for tabletop battles. * Viking -- e.g., 03385 - Amon, Viking Warrior. Sure, Vikings are a bit late-period for piracy, but they're always in style in fantasy settings, and I could always run my pirates against some Viking ghosts or revenants. * Ninja -- e.g., 3081 - Edo, Male Ninja. You can never have too many ninjas! (And although ninjas may not show up in the typical pirate campaign, well, at least they're just about as cool. ;) ) * Kraken Tentacle -- e.g., something from 02634 - Well of Doom, only bigger? Get 8, and you've got a full encounter, with tentacles reaching up and grabbing crew while the heroes furiously hack away. :D Still of potential interest for fantasy -- and something that would have a horrendous price tag if it was solid pewter. The "bendy" nature of the plastic might actually be a bonus here, since maybe I could run some wire through the plastic and re-pose it for a little variety, as a conversion. * Fishfolk/merfolk/weresharks/Bathalian-pirates/etc. -- SOME sort of encounter, just as long as it fits a nautical theme. This is the sort of thing that wouldn't limit itself to "pirate" games, but would fit in with regular fantasy just fine, as long as some water is involved. On the big end, maybe even Goroloth! :D
angstpuppet
Among other things I would like to see as many Mummies as can be made, diversity is a good thing with hordes 03104: Urian (I already have 2 but I can always use more, they are super handy for my Wargods of Olympus warbands). I have to reiterate the Vikings comment above, any and all of them as Bones would be good Troop packs from the Warlord line, especially Nefsokar Amazons, any of them, all of them As Reaper is already touching on Dragons and Giants in the kickstarter, add more, I would love to get a bunch of dragons cheaply. My 2 year old loves dragons and I am planning on painting up a bunch for him and putting them in a display case in his room. Once he is old enough to game they will be his to use as he sees fit. Gargoyles, for the same project for my son mentioned above. The kid loves the old Gargoyles TV show and has stuffed animal gargoyles and loves seeing the ones I have on the mantle. More fodder for his display case would be awesome.
Thrym
A 2 and 1/2 foot tall humanoid tree frog in various classes. :) Grippli are way more fun than halflings to play. Any flavor will do but rogues, druids, rangers and wizardly types would be most prevalent. Oh yeah, um, frost giants. Lots of frost giants. Is there a shaman, cleric or druid version of a Frost Giant in any of the lines? I don't recall one.
TheAuldGrump
Hum, de dumm... I suspect that a hill giant is somewhere in the future for the Kickstarter, but.... which hill giant? Frulla is a female, so will be a likely possibility, but which of the boys? Blorg would be easy to cast (and looks great), Llunkh is kind of an archetypical rock throwing brute, Ron Perlman, I mean Krug, is another that has a lot of presence, but then you have the Warlord hill giant.... That boy ate his Wheaties.... Might be a bit of a challenge to cast, though. I would be happy with pretty much any of them - though Blorg and the nameless Warlord giant are my favorites. My players already call Krug 'Ron' when he's on the table. (I need to get another to turn into a Behemoth for my Fallout game.) joshuaslater
Ron Perlman!! L.O.L.!! Giants, large models, and cavalry are probably what I'll buy. Most of the kickstarter models will go to my friend's house for the roleplay sessions. I'll keep a few for Warlord.

Now all we need are some not-Kuo-Toa and we have the figs for the classic Against The Giants/Into The Depths/Demonweb Pits modules!
cloudshaper2k
I'd like to see the Savage Worlds minis converted over to this line - or possibly some posse packs that would work both for SW and the old Great Rail Wars game. Deadlands vehicles like the steam wagon, ornithopter and velocipede couldn't hurt, either.
