Qwyksilver
I can't really see the licensed lines going into Bones to be honest. Since the molds are very pricy and manufacturing is in another country at present I can't see Reaper taking the chances on products with limited lifespans. If they produce thousands of a mini and the license lapses they are stuck with that plastic that can't be reused, unlike metal, which can just get tossed back into a crucible. Not at this time at least. I could see this happening if they were able to produce Bones in house, where they would be better equipped to cast on demand. Jordan Peacock
A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse! ;D Or, more practically, I'd be interested in a Bones horse, or perhaps even better -- a pegasus, since it would be a simple matter to leave off or trim off the wings to end up with an ordinary horse, or paint it differently to represent a "nightmare." I picked up #02150 Raindancer (a pegasus with two wings on a separate sprue), specifically so that I could use the horse body for a mount, with a rider conversion. The wings will come in handy for conversion purposes, I'm sure. (It's surprising how often I have use for wings alone!) One particularly nice thing about Bones is that they really lend themselves nicely to conversions -- and the lower price means it's far more practical to get two copies of a figure, so I can use one as-is for the "standing" figure, and modify the other to serve as a rider. ScryingEyeGames
Vermin swams, either individually or in a large set. Bats, centipedes, spiders, rats, flying insects, all the classics. Maybe do some nasty new versions, like an aquatic set of jellyfish swarms, crabs and crustaceans, and fish (like piranha) swarms, or some birds, snakes, giant ants, etc. Validate an actual use/need for them by getting together with Pathfinder to put out the rules for the new figs. Metal made these too expensive to have a large set when your druids goes ballistic. Plastic makes it economical, and gives all your summoners more visual clout on the tabletop. ObsidianCrane
Well the bat swarm is in the kickstarter already, but it would be nice to see the rat swarm, spider swarm, crows and sacarab swarm turn up as well, it might even make a good "vermin" bonus level on the KS with some of the other vermin minis Reaper has in catalogue. The Basilisk
Stirge swarms, too! Can't go without stirges!
TheAuldGrump
Just a thread for those... odd... minis that you would still like to see as Bones. The ones that are likely doomed from the start. Me, I want to see some tentacled monstrosities - The Devourer (14076), the Bathalian Exarch (50062), and the Goroloth Drone (03533). Most would see use as aquatic monsters.... The Well of Doom would also be fun. What other oddballs would folks like to see in white PVC? The Auld Grump
Artists Wren Posted August 6, 2012 Artists Share Posted August 6, 2012 I'd love scenic stuff (skulls, bones, dungeon dressing, that kind of thing, maybe even some furniture or bigger pieces), but given it hasn't sold gangbusters in metal, I don't know that anyone would risk it in Bones. (Though maybe price is a disincentive in metal for that kind of stuff?)
kpsmith
Just a few things I'd like to see. 02717: Dragon of Fire 03465: Shaerileth, Spider Demoness 02868: Eldritch Demon 03357: Golgoth the Ancient, Skeletal Knight 02674: Chimera 02253: Water Elemental
ObsidianCrane
I'll admit I love the old Pillars of Good and Evil, but I could never justify the cost of purchasing them in metal, in Bones that would be different I suspect.
Jordan Peacock
I'd love scenic stuff (skulls, bones, dungeon dressing, that kind of thing, maybe even some furniture or bigger pieces), but given it hasn't sold gangbusters in metal I love building terrain boards for my games (using Hirst Arts Castlemolds, broken toys from thrift stores, foam board, illustration board, etc.), and while it's relatively easy to find materials to make the BIG structural stuff, the little details are what really give it character. I often bargain for bags of "bitz" leftover from the plastic armies assembled by some of my wargamer friends to use as "dungeon" decor or props for decorative bases, but then I'm at the mercy of what someone just happens to have leftover. Buying doors, etc., at metal prices just doesn't seem cost-effective -- but if I could get furnishings and props at plastic prices, then it might be viable. I'd hope I wouldn't be alone in that thought. Hirst Arts castings are typically done in Hydrocal, after all; they have to be carefully stored, are prone to chipping, etc. That's workable for dungeon floors and short walls, but fiddly things such as doors and furnishings don't hold up as well if made of Hydrocal; I often resort to having to craft them out of craft wood or mat board or some other material so they can hold up to repeated usage. For a "dungeon," a certain amount of variety in my construction (I'm not a machine, after all), is forgivable, but any irregularities when making "modern" doors really stand out. Having some plastic options (doors, torch sconces, traps, barred grills, coffins, skulls, weapon racks, etc.) would hold some appeal for me. I could definitely use a plastic Soulcannon (or, rather, LOTS OF THEM) for my pirate ship projects. :)

kristof65
Or, more practically, I'd be interested in a Bones horse, I think a horse or two (or three or four) would be a great addition to the Bones line. Not so much for the horse itself, but for the ability to make cavalry for the other lines affordable. Warlord Cavalry units mounted on Bones horses would cost a fraction of what they do now. And mounted/unmounted versions of characters in DHL would be much more practical as well.

Dr.Bedlam
In my personal case, "Stuff that's big and heavy enough that the cost is prohibitive in metal." Heads and skulls are fine in metal, for me. Larger dragons and critters, on the other hand...
