"Drooling rainbow" ::D:

What a nice piece of work...I just fall in love.

But I have to ask...Why? for the spirit of Davy Jones!!! Why those minis always have so many belts and buckles??? Painting they properly is been my nightmare since ever. Any chance we can have a additional class called "How not to suck painting belts and buckles" LOL ::D:

Would there be any way to replace the mousling with an extra Sophie ???

I doubt there will be a way to do that. However, you can always buy extra copies of the con miniatures during the con. If you don't care for the mousling at all, you could even hand him in in the melt area to exchange for something you want more out of the bins. Though it makes me very sad to think of a mousling getting melted! ;-> Since he is a limited release mini, however, I'm sure you can find a friend or someone on forums who would be happy to take him off your hands.

I'm sure if such a mini was traded in, it would not stay on the table long! :;):

I won't actually be going to the Con and I have NO interest in any mousling minis.

There was going to be more here, but I just woke up and I have a headache, my blood glucose is high and I'm extra cranky.

So I took the pills I needed to and deleted the angriness.

I cannot wait to see this trading table. I've heard great things and I have a large trade in tub almost ready to go!

However, my pirate mousling will not be going to the table. While I'm not a huge fan of the mouslings, I have all the ones I think are adorable. And I have a weakness for pirates. ::):

I was surprised at the older limited edition minis, like previous Con Sophies, I saw on the melt table, and I didn't even spend a lot of time there. They're worth a lot more on Ebay or in trade on mini forums than as melt. (Which is part of the reason I pointed out the limited editionness of your unwanted moulsing, Brother Jim. If you sit on it a few months or years, it might finance the extra money you'll pay to order an additional Sophie. If it's the 2013 convention mini, it is actually a little harder to get than Sophie, since it requires in-person attendance at a convention Reaper goes to, or purchase of a ReaperCon ticket with mailed swag bag, whereas Sophie will be available for online order for the duration of the convention. Or you can just keep it to stomp into slag the next time you're having a cranky morning, whatever works for you. :->)

It funny last year I was standing with Bob Ridolfi at the table & we were finding a bunch of his sculpts (Reaper & non) & he said. "I hope this doesn't mean I'm not liked" ha ha The table is a great way to just look at the history of minis in general. Heck I know Lanse would be like Scooge McDuck & swimming in it if he could. ^_^

There are all kinds of reasons stuff ends up on that table. Sometimes it is stuff that is unwanted/unloved, sometimes it is stuff that has casting flaws that do not live up to a painter's standards, but mostly it is stuff that people have decided that they no longer need or will never paint. The cool part is being able to snag something unexpected with what you have considered to be your "scrap" pile. ::):
