He's the Space Marine Emperors Champion figure from Games Workshop. Not sure if he's still available anymore or not.

Should still be available, though in resin from GW's Finecast line. It's a necessary model for the Black Templar army and I don't believe that's the older limited edition Emperor's Champion model.

Nice... I would like to see that gem work tightened up a bit and the blue tabbard on the EC model is just to close in color to the armor for me... It get's a bit lost in the armor. They all look pretty good though for table top action. No Livery or chapter symbols? TOM!

Excellent table top mini there Tom. I would like to see the first mini as a display level paintjob though, maybe one day you can paint it for yourself eh? Also, is he missing a backpack?

I was just wondering the same. I don't play WH40K, but I do paint the models for my friends and commissions. When my son insisted I leave a backpack off one of his, a player friend of mine nearly lost his mind.

 

Really dig the skin tones on the scouts & company.

Thanks guys. This is the metal version of the Champion. The client didn't have his backpack, so it was painted without. As for the tabard Stern, I used gray instead of blue. Didn't think it was that close to the armor. And no Livery or chapter symbols. These guys are the Patriotic Space Marines! Red, White, and Blue! lol

 

I would be interested in painting the Champion again as a display model. I picked up the Olive Skin Triad and really like it!

 

I'm also doing a video series on 2 other minis. Callus Darklore and the Leprechaun on Owl. Both from Reaper. Search for ddrummer27 on YouTube if you want to watch them go from Raw metal to painted mini. :)
