Captain Murray
Hey Guys, Did I misunderstood the message in the other topic, where Kit said that the ticket to the classes would be start selling today at noon? I am sorry for the anxiousness, but I really don´t want to lose any of the good spots in the classes, specially the One to One class :-D Best regards
Pole
I am waiting too. My refresh button is waving a white surrender flag right now. I imagine they will be up soon... At least I hope
Super Administrators kit Posted April 9, 2012 Super Administrators Share Posted April 9, 2012 To give everyone a fighting chance, I've pushed it to Tuesday, Noon, and made all the appropriate announcements. So, a little less than 24 hours. http://www.reapermin...apercon#classes Remember, I only put three seats online. The remaining 2 will be available at the door on the appropriate day of the Con.

warhorseminis
So we have to purchase class tickets in addition to the convention ticket? Not that it's a big deal but I want to make sure I've got my ducks in a row and money budgeted correctly. ;)
Fruggs
Yes, classes are an additional $20 each. The con pass gets you in the door and access to all the goodness of gaming, factory tours, rpg events etc:)
Shogan
I had no idea class sizes were so small. It's great for learning but I'm a little freaked out now that I won't get one I want and I'll have to wait an entire year to do it again. Dodson
Shogan, remember that if you don't get it pre-ordered on Tuesday they do keep a few tickets at the Con itself. If you can show up early Thursday you have another shot. I got into most every class I wanted last year. I will say this... don't over book yourself with classes!!! I tooks 5 last year and it was too many. I learned so much in all of them I was kind of overwhelmed. My plan is to take 2 painting and 1 sculpting class this year. The hardest part is deciding which classes to take!

I'm guessing the chances of their being slots still available for registration by the time I get home from work tomorrow is basically nil. Artists Wren Posted April 10, 2012 Artists Share Posted April 10, 2012 Shogan, remember that if you don't get it pre-ordered on Tuesday they do keep a few tickets at the Con itself. If you can show up early Thursday you have another shot. I got into most every class I wanted last year. Just a small clarification on this. If it is done as in years past, the two tickets for each class that are held to be sold at the door go on sale the day of the class itself. So if you want a class that's on Friday, you'll need to try to make it a little early on Friday morning to purchase the ticket. While the class sizes are small (which is great!), many of the classes are two sessions. Also, lots of people attend the Con to play games, hang out with friends and lots of other activities, they're not all trying for all the class seats. And as many Con goers are regulars who've attended previous Cons, they may have already taken a class in several of the topics. The last reason not to panic is that the painters are sculptors are also available outside of class times in the artist area. While we can't reteach an entire class, we are available to ask for tips, feedback, a few insights into a particular technique and so on.
nytflyr
the wife and I pre-regged at the con last year, and I believe that included one free class, how do we go about redeeming those?
MiniCannuck
I am SO excited about the classes. This is the main reason I decided to fly to Texas. I love the DVDs some of the artists have put out but I feel that actually having a class with them will be even better. My goal is to get in a couple of painting classes and a couple of sculpting classes. I love to paint and have always wanted to try sculpting but didn't know where to start. That being said, I wish everyone the same luck that I hope for myself and that we all get the classes we want. BTW, I am having a brain dead moment and forget which ex-Canadian I'm bringing down the Cherry Blossoms for? Can someone please remind me? I have my ReaperCon ticket sitting in my shopping cart so I'm hoping I can snag some classes and get it all bought and paid for in one fell swoop. :D
Super Administrators kit Posted April 10, 2012 Super Administrators Share Posted April 10, 2012 the wife and I pre-regged at the con last year, and I believe that included one free class, how do we go about redeeming those? You email me and I take a class off the peg for you. For everyone else, this wouldn't affect the number of pre-reg seats I have available.
