Jay

got your Vampire chick, yesterday. Thank you very much!

Love the lining you did on that one. It really stands out. Also her face really came out great as well.

Gives me motivation to finish mine up over the next couple days & get it out by Friday or Saturday.

I'll post pictures soon!!

Well, a bit longer than I had wanted, but finally finished up my paintjob last night. Will get some pictures of it tonight and shipped off tomorrow. Have to admit, I like it a lot and will be tough to let go of. But, I know it goes to a good home so it makes it a little easier.

Sadly I won't be getting my figure out by today. I hit a bad case of no mojo the last few weeks, epically the week I was on vacation. I had hope to really paint that week, alas nothing.

I will have the figure out in the next week thou. Just hope my little experiment I've been wanting to try on it, works.....

btw, the late mini recipient is themudhead (sorry!!!)

Also, thanks for letting me know Jay. Looking forward to the figure as I've seen your work at RCon & I was impressed by it.

Got the mini from herzogbrian yesterday. Here are the photos I took of his nice version of Pathfinder, #60079, Lyrie Akenja - Sculpted by: Julie Guthrie. I really like the paint job, free hand, and basing. Great Job all around Brian.

I have a question that is related to this, but not exactly this.

I would love to participate in the next exchange thread, and I was wondering when it might be? Are they typically only during the Summer? Or do they crop up when someone feels like organizing one? Also, my painting isn't very good, is that okay? I'd hate to give someone something that isn't up to snuff, ya know?

For future reference, exchanges are held when someone feels like organizing one. You don't need special permission, just willingness to be the host, and a number of people who want to participate.

As for quality, you've seen what people have posted for this exchange, and you can do a search on previous ones. I don't think anyone is expecting competition or museum quality paint jobs.

Sorry I haven't these sooner. I received the female huckster. She looks great, I love her.

These are the ones that I painted. I was asked not to base them. I tried my hand at NMM for the chainsister. It could have been better but I think its ok for my first serious attempt
