Enchantra
That's when you find some cute guy to carry them home for you CD. They make great pack animals. *ducks* Hey, no need to duck. Most guys don't mind carrying the packages so long as they get to walk two or three steps behind the lady they're carrying them for.... I'll take your word for it Whiz. Though getting my BF or whatever you want to call him to carry packages for me is like pulling teeth. Now and then he offers, but most of the time I ahve to ask. I can be laden down with all my crap from school and other stuff and he can have just a small bag in one hand and not offer to help. He is getting better though. Whizard Hlavaz
You need a better training regiment, Enchantra.
Enchantra
You need a better training regiment, Enchantra. And what would that be Whiz? The current training regiment consists of tempting him with food. It doesn't work as well as I was told it would. A question on the paints. Are they going to be available in all the colors the regular pro-paints come in?

pae
When are these going to be released? In time for Santa to bring me some? Pleeeese. Alas, but no. A new paint line is in the works at Reaper and expected to hit store shelves in the spring.Unless you mean in time for Santa to bring you some in 2004. Vikinglodge
Exiting news indeed I will have to purchase the whole new line, knowing how good the current line is. Hoping it will come rather sooner than later.

He could stop a truck at a 1000 yards. The man had no concept of how to bathe (I saw him take a bath maybe 3 times the entire time I was there) and I did not figure this out until I had moved in with him. Thankfully I left within 3 1/2 weeks and came back to Rochester. Not to mention HC, when I wrote the original comment, it was done in jest... Reaper User Vaitalla Posted November 21, 2003 Reaper User Share Posted November 21, 2003 Okay, the low-down as it stands (subject to change, but so far this is it): Master paints will come out in the spring. They will be in dropper bottles. They will (alas, Enchantra) be around three bucks a bottle, because they need to be to cover the costs of upgrading our pigment, binder, and bottles. Good art supplies are almost never cheap (with the exception of Folk Art Extender!! ), and many Reaper peeps went to great lengths looking into ways to improve the line. So I apologize if you feel the paint will be too expensive; I am working hard to make sure that it will be more than worth it to advanced painters. Other factors: we are looking, as Paintrix suggested, to make a paint that flows well, has a long life expectancy, covers great, and doesn't rub off nearly as easily as Vallejo. We are looking at a start-up of 54 "basic colors" (which will fill some holes in our current line, adding in some warm browns and greens), and then an expansion of another 54 colors, which will bring in some of the naturalistic, military, or just plain weird colors! A great many of the colors will be drawn directly from our current Reaper line; we'll just be improving the formulation and going to new bottles. Others will be brand-spanking new. There will, for example, be a truly dark black-purple if I have to jump up and down and cry my little eyeballs out. --Anne
pae
Thanks for the info, Anne! I wonder if I can hold off from buying any more Reaper paints until these come out? Usually, the first thing I do when I get them is transfer them to dropper bottles. I'm pretty impressed with the number of colors I have right now, considering I just started painting again less than 6 weeks ago.

I'd LOVE to not have to mix it!!

Oh I knew it was, I just wanted to get in on the convo again as well as getting in a comment on that interpersonal dynamic so to speak. I see things a bit differently than the Wiz does apparently.
